Unagi w mentai tamago ($22), snow crab pasta ($15) Unagi was quite small in portion. Mentai tamago combi is 👌🏻. Snow crab pasta taste like chilli crab sauce w lots of meat

Ok food for price (1 for 1) Ordered unagi fried rice - portion is small, unagi not visible but taste of unagi is evident. Seafood pasta came abit wet tasted abit more home cooked than restaurant style. Thought the oyster comes together with the seafood pasta but they claimed they served wrongly (and told me only when I was making payment) - suspect they do this with all tables who didn’t hit the min spending. Then say out of goodwill will give a 15% off for the 1 raw oyster. Overall, nice ambience but poor business ethics, won’t recommend

Doesnt accept burple voucher If the restaurant doesn’t accept the voucher then why are they on the app and this is not the first time happen I saw another review that say the same things. Are they using burple just to make people come and then doesn’t accept vouchers and make people pay for it normal price

1f1 tasting portion Tried the lamb ragu and the mentaiko pasta. We chose the pumpkin Pasta with the ragu sauce but we felt another pasta would have went better with the rich sauce. I love the lamb sausage too with the feta. The mentaiko was nice as usual. We also tried the mushroom soup but it was pretty mid. Very worth work burpple deal!

Tiramisu ($8.90) Small and it was served just in a small container. The alcohol taste was quite strong and the mascarpone was sweet and creamy, but we couldn’t really taste the coffee in it. All in all, average and not memorable.

Ragu ($25.90) with Beetroot Lunghi I thought this would look better but the aesthetic was a bit lacking. The portion was also small and the beef was tough. The beef cubes were flavourful, but very tough (full of tendons that were very tough to bite). The sauce for this was quite watery too and didn’t stick to the beetroot Lunghi well.

Thai tea crepe At $8, the OG from Two Bake Boys doesn’t come cheap. Taste and flavour wise, given it’s a recipe from the owner, a Thai, it’s in a way, guaranteed good! The mille Thai tea crepe came served with a pouch of Thai tea drizzle, enhancing the tea-liciousness of the cake. Thanks to Burpple beyond 1-1, this is certainly way more affordable!

Birthday Came to celebrate my birthday and its definitely a good experience. Firstly, the staff is friendly and help prepare the cake when she know we are celebrating in the cafe. Secondly, the ambience is good to chill and chit chat. Lastly, the cakes are delicious. I love that the cake is not so sweet and the portion is good for 1pax. Will come back again :)

very pretty cafe!!! very well decorated cafe & cosy environment but had no one when we reached around 5pm. had their thai milk tea crepe cake & vanilla strawberry crepe cake for a total of $8 after 1 for 1 discount. the crepe cakes were flavoured mildly but the thai milk tea sauce helped to enhance the milk tea flavours so we enjoyed the cakes. it was a distance from bugis mrt station so we're on the fence whether we would purposely go back there again.

Keeping to their crazy cream-to-puff ratio, the National Day special is available only till 31 August. The Ceylon tea-infused signature Hokkaido BIEI Jersey Milk custard was so fragrant, intense and lusciously smooth - perfect when paired with the thin crisp and crusty choux pastry. One for tea lovers, it also kinda resembles a good Thai tea cream - a complex blend of sweet and floral, with warm, earthy and nutty notes. 

Teh Tarik Cream Puff Teh Tarik Cream Puff ($7) is under limited edition for NDP seasonal menu and end under end of month. So the taste replication for teh tarik is so similar (creamy and milky). Its giving off local vibes for national day month.

salmon parma rosa linguine ($28) generous serving of salmon in the pasta! sauce was a pink sauce which is like a mix of cream and tomato

Sous Vide Baby Back Ribs | $22++ Pink peppercorn glaze, sriracha slaw with 4 ribs. This was definitely on the pricier side and the ribs were not meaty enough but the meat was tender and fell off the bone easily. Would skip this and get something more worth the buck.

4 Dishes Ordered: 1. Deep Fried Sea Bass with Triple Flavoured Sauce Original Price: $19 You can choose from 3 sauces (Triple Flavoured Sauce, Thai Red Curry, Mango Salad). Love this dish! The sauce is sweet and sour with mild spiciness (I have low tolerance for spicy food). The sea bass skin is crispy and the flesh is fresh. 2. Stir-Fried Chicken with Cashew Nuts Original Price: $10 Like what another reviewer said, the chicken is less than the other ingredients in the dish. 3. Tom Yum Seafood Soup (Clear, Large) Original Price: $10 Can choose between creamy or clear soup. Shiok because it’s sour, not that spicy. It contains tomato, shimeji mushroom and prawns 4. Thai Omelette with Prawn and Crab Stick Original Price: $10 Fluffy and nice! 5. White Rice Original Price: $0.80 each bowl Not part of the Burpple deal haha The burpple deal is definitely better than the family set available. The total cost ended up being $19 + $10 + 4*$0.80 = $32.20

Thai Omelette With Prawn And Crabstick Egg was fluffy with quite a generous amount of prawns. It is a bit oily but understandable since is a fried omelette dish

Coconut Lychee Cooler / Pineapple Orange Tango The Coconut Lychee Cooler falls short with an artificial-tasting coconut syrup that overpowers its homemade lychee juice and sparkling water. Meanwhile, the Pineapple Orange Tango is refreshing, perfectly balanced with pineapple juice, orange wedges and a fizzy ginger ale twist.

Chips de Canela Served warm, the crispy flour tortillas were coated in cinnamon sugar and paired with vanilla ice cream, chocolate hazelnut sauce, and fresh fruits. But sadly, the flavours didn’t quite come together. The tortilla was overwhelmingly dominant and despite all the toppings, I found it hard to taste much else and I ended up not finishing it 》$16

Arroz con Cerdo The smoked Peruvian yellow chilli rice is smooth and mildly spiced, packed with chorizo and edamame for added texture. The pork jowl is decadently rich and fatty, perfectly grilled, and finished with a glossy balsamic reduction that delivers a sweet, tangy punch. Worth trying! Duck Confit Taglatelle - Smells amazing, and looks enticing! Tastes nice, though I personally prefer a stronger seasoning flavour when it comes to duck. The more I ate it, the more I enjoyed it though😄

Duck Confit Tagliatelle ($28) I decided to use burpple 1 for 1 voucher for trying their pasta (mains). I finally trying their best selling pasta after a long time. But I felt that their pasta was a bit thick as hard to chew thru. Duck confit was quite tender and not that hard. But fried hazelnut reminded me of Ferrero Rocher enhance the pasta's taste.

Breaded Oyster ($15) The oyster was freshly made fried on the spot when the customer order. I felt that the oyster got too much for batters, still juicy, crunchy and crispy texture for first try.
