Order your creations of alcoholic tea over at Tea Geek. This is the Royal Romance ($22) which is exclusive to Singapore and comprises of oolong tea, vodka, sea coconut, mangosteen and grape juice. The drink was refreshing. However, could only taste grape juice and could not taste the vodka or oolong tea at all. Mangosteen was hard to suck up/eat with the straw provided. Not recommended for the price tag.

Ordered the Live Crab Combo ($97) with add-on of 300g mussels ($12). The crab combo consisted of Sri Lankan crab, prawns, clams, corn and sausages which was good for 3 girls to share. The seafood were very fresh and they went really well with the world famous signature sauce (mild). No regrets eating with your hands as you will be licking off every last bit of that sauce.

Menu had written mashed potato, however, hash brown was given instead. Neither prior notice by staff of the replacement during orders nor explanation when serving the dish was given. Left us really confused and we had to double check the menu. But seemed like every other guest in the restaurant was served hash brown with this dish as well.

The dish looks really good on photo, but duck leg was over-fried and the meat was really dry. Dish got really dry with hash brown as a side. Not recommended and would not order again.

Luscious hollandaise sauce with perfectly poached eggs and smoked salmon on toasted sourdough bread. The salmon roe adds bursts of umami-ness and depth into the dish.

Food is good but service is not acceptable.

Granted that boufe is running a 1 for 1 mains promotion, however, having to wait 75-90mins for our food is unacceptable. After waiting for an hour for our food, we tried to check with a staff if our food was coming. Instead of checking on our orders, the staff brushed us off by saying the guests of table before us have not gotten their food as well. However, we realised that the tables around us who came much later have gotten their food, despite having the same orders.

The lamb rack came with 3 ribs, all nicely frenched and seared. Meat was juicy, moist and goes really well with the lamb jus. However, the ratatouille was chunky and does not really pair well with the lamb.

The prawns and scallops were beautifully charred and seared, with the prawns having a slight smoky taste. The rice pack a punch from that flavourful prawn broth and I love the extra creaminess with the addition of the garlic aioli.

Definitely a must-have when you are here!

Twosome noodles ($9.50+) + 18pcs Fried Wanton ($8+) for lunch. After using 1-1 on burrple beyond for the noodles, it’s only about $5+! $5 for thick slabs of char siew, crunchy roast pork and 3 pcs of wanton! So worth it 😋

Don’t forget to add the crispy lard onto your noodles for the crunch!

Signature waffle with white rabbit soft serve ($12). The addition of rice paper on the soft serve is a nice recreation of the texture. The soft service is creamy and milky, but doesn’t remind one of the white rabbit sweet.
Use burrple beyond to enjoy 1-1 for the single waffle with soft serve!

Roasted char siew and duck rice ($5.60). Love the dark sauce, with hints of fermented bean paste, that is drenched on the roasted meat. Goes super well with the rice. The cabbage soup provides a good balance to alleviate the richness of the roasted meat and sauce.
