Mung bean bun: 7/10
To best describe this - tau sa piah in a bun form. The amount of salty mung beans inside the thin bun is amazing, although i feel that this bun was more on the drier side. The addition of sesame seeds on the bun seems to add a nutty flavour but can be too overwhelming at times. But i would recommend one to try this at least once to see if it fits your palette.

Orh nee bun: 9/10
What a steal! If you want to get your orh nee + bread fix, this is THE bread to go to. Smooth with occasional yam chunks, the yam paste is one of the affordable yet satisfying ones you can get here in sg. Love how every bite has the perfect amount of yam paste to bread ratio which makes me wanting to go back for more.

Red bean bun: 8/10
One of the buns that i eat almost everyday given how affordable and yummy it is. The red bean paste is more on the chinese side, sticky and thick due to the large amounts of sugar in it. However, this was a really shiok bun with generous fillings encased within a thin chewy bun. Definitely a must try!

HOLY MOLY look at this 🤩 rich decadent matcha cream with loads of whole red beans encassed in a matcha fluffy bun. This is one of the most worth it buns imo with the quality and quantity here. The matcha crumbs at the top is the best part, with a slight bitter undertone that sets it apart from the other matcha bun ive ever tried. The cream within is also one of the richest-tasting matcha item ive ever tasted, and is definitely one I foreesee myself not being able to indulge in too often given how heavy it was. But this should be crowned as THE BEST matcha bun ever.

GASHOUSE EGGS: 8/10
I love how rich and oozy the egg was, complementing the cheese and bread very very well. However, found the bacon jam a but lacklustre - it was too chinese-tasting in some bites and for a moment, I thought they infused some sort of marmite into it. However, it was a very well-executed dish.

AVOCADO WITH FETA CHEESE, CHERRY TOMATOES AND ALMOND FLAKES ON SOURDOUGH: 6.5/10
Rather disappointing with how chewy and tough the bread was but i love the combination of the rich and creamy avocado on the sourdough bread. The almond flakes added a nice crunch in every bite and the feta cheese didn’t overwhelm the dish.

Haven’t had cafe food in a long time and so here it is! Really gooood food here with the combination of food that we choose to share here:

CHOCOLATE ALMOND CROISSANT: 7.5/10
Didnt want to order this at first until we saw this at the counter and it looked too good to past. Indeed, it was warm, buttery, flaky and decadent in every bite. I love the combination of the rich gooey center and chocolate that paired well with the flaky croissant. Could have been better if the ends were not as dry as compared to the center part with most of the fillings.

Not really a coffee drinker so I wont give a rating but it was very well-brewed in a way that was aromatic and strong and bitter. The long black was also quite acidic.

Being one of my favourite comfort food, this one tops the list with a favourite protein - salmon. Portion looks small, but enough to keep me full and satisfied 🥳
Good balance between creaminess and cheesiness 🧀

Dish sounds flat but was a saviour of the night - decadent yet rich chocolate with a chocolate crust, making it one of the richest desserts i’ve had but was satisfying 😩

Value for money with burpple’s 1-for-1 but this wasn’t up my palette cos it was too tough despite it being cooked to medium but i love how runny the eggs were and the sauce pairing

As compared to other korean set meals in this area, this is definitely worth your money given the free flow sides (pickled vegetables, kimchi, and another side dish of the day) and complementary tea and seaweed for every soup set.

Taste wise pretty decent, with the soup compromising of soft tofu, prawns, squid, mushrooms and vegetables. Love how the korean rice complements the comforting soup.

One of my to-go eating spot with my family. This set comprises of a bowl of assorted ytf, mee kia with minced meat tossed with sesame oil and kang kong. Pretty simple meal.

You can also order other sides like fried beancurd in thai sauce, nacho cheese and more. Those can get quite soggy if not eaten immediately but the refreshing cucumbers does help to lighten one’s palate.
