This is probably one of my most frequented restaurants in Singapore. The food NEVER disappoints! Generous portions at reasonable prices, with a a wide variety of options for you to choose from. Due to popular demand, they've just opened up a second floor for more seating.
Set in one of the oldest residential areas in Singapore is this perky little cafe. I really liked the eclectic collection of furniture that decorated the space giving the cafe a somewhat whimsical charm. They have a good selection of savoury and sweet options for the fickle. The food was memorable. I loved my rendang stew. The meat was so soft and melted in my mouth. Perfect hang out place for a lazy chilled out weekend.
Set in an unsuspecting humble residential neighbourhood is this delightful litte cafe. Their menu may be limited but the taste of their dishes make up for that! Really generous
portions and food that leaves you very satisfied!
I'm not a big fan of waffles but these are too good not to mention. Very soft, yet crispy. Despite being topped with a berry compote and ice cream, the waffle didn't turn soggy.
First time trying earl grey cheesecake and it was heavenly! The lemon tart was a little on the sour side though. Would have preferred it if there was more of a balance between the sweetness and tanginess. Would definitely come back to try some of their other desserts!
My rosti cherry was popped at Once Upon A Rosti and might I add, it was real good!
An array of delectable treats to choose from at Butter Studio! Their most popular dessert is the nutella tart with sea salt. Unfortunately, they were all sold out the day I went. Will definitely go back to get my paws on that soon! Overall cozy ambience with really good music too.
Trust me when I say that my soul was really pleased after I sank my teeth into these cakes. They were light, airy and absolutely divine! I especially loved the strawberry lime cake. A tangy twist to the strawberry shortcake. They also have a wide choice of teas you can choose from. The brand of tea isn't familiar to me but my girls and I ordered a secone pot because it was soooo goooood!
Fluffly and soft, just the way pancakes should be! A generous pancake stack with ricotta cheese, honey, bananas & crushed pistachio.
Turkey bacon, poached eggs and avocado atop a hash of corned beef. I personally would have preferred the hash to be a little crispy, but it was tasty nevertheless. The serving size is just nice.
