While they are more well known for their soft serve (my fav soft serve place !), this tiny tart made its presence into their latest Spring menu 2019. It blew me away - good crust, light mascarpone coupled with the sweetness of the strawberries. Yum. It's often not easy to find the perfect tart with the perfect crust.

The place to go for affordable late night dimsum. The must haves: liu sha bao and the panfried carrot cake. I have to admit - it's not the first thing to come to my mind if I have a huge craving for good dimsum (and that the price is not an issue)

To me it's Japanese version of the glorified Bak Chor Mee. I prefer the latter. It's a fraction of its price.

I had a sudden craving for ramen and decided to go to the one nearest (and shortest Q) from my crib - Ippudo. Unable to recall the last time i had Ippudo, but now i vaguely remembered why I seldom head back - price. Expensive and soso ramen, your money is better well spent elsewhere

Caramelised strawberry, a flavour with whiskey + pecan and 70% chocolate (hidden underneath) - loved everything !

Im not the best food photographer but you can trust The Cheese Ark for if you're in the mood for some cheese

Virgin experience of Mala in a food court and I was blown away ! Food was tolerable spicy and we managed to finish most of it.

Top right: pumpkin and persimmon tart, shiso and burrata ice cream by the side
Bottom right: iberico pork loin - probably the weakest link in this set menu as this dish is on the saltier side
Left: fruit meringue with fig, pear and yogurt - probably the star of the menu ! Aesthetically appeasing and brings joy in your mouth

The chocolate and green tea sponges were subtle in taste. What makes that cake flavourful is the matcha-infused white chocolate shell - just think of it like Royce's green tea nama chocolate.

Lunch set 4 - course meal for $55. It's nice and quite value for money - wont keep you 100% full but at least you have some spare cash later for a cup of coffee :)
