Good BCM with generous serving of ingredients. Soup was flavourful. As it is run solely by an old uncle, be prepared for the queue to move very slowly. (~30min)
Good food selection. Taste-wise, average. This would be a nice place for tourists because of the food variety and pleasant views. You can take a walk to Marina Barrage (5 min) after your meal to get a beautiful view of the Marina bay landscape.
Had the Christmas set meal which came up to $72 for 2 people. Beef portion was generous but quite fatty. The other parts of the meal (i.e. omu rice) wasn't outstanding. For the price point, I was expecting a little more.
Headed down in anticipation after reading good reviews, but was disappointed by the food. Tried both the Truffle Scrambled Egg and Breakfast Works. Taste is mediocre and nothing in particular stood out.
Decent food with Burpple 1-for-1. Discount also available on Eatigo.
Waffle was quite good, but the scrambled eggs could be more fluffy.
Given the number of cafes in Tiong Bahru area, quality has to be better to stand out.
Great selection at great prices. Sushi was fresh and value-for-money. Forsee myself coming back again.
However queues are very long now. Suggest you make a mobile booking prior to heading down.
Beef was tender and having mashed foie gras (added as sauce over the beef bowl) was an interesting twist. Worth a try.
One of the best prawn mee in sg! The soup was rich and flavourful. Even the smallest serving had a good amount of prawns and noodles. Ngoh hiang was average in my opinion. Overall, was very satisfied with the meal. Will be back!
