It might be a little hard to locate the unit at NEWest, but the food is really good (esp the claypot prawn tang hoon and crispy chicken with mint sauce), with average zi char price. The portion size is quite big even though we ordered Small for all (except pineapple fried rice) so overall a good place for groups and families!
Peppery soup and a variety of ingredients in your bowl. A bit too peppery for my liking, but it is something nice to have on a cold day.
Save the hassle of choosing ingredients as the YTF here is sold in sets. Ordered the signature (Set A) and top up with more meatballs because it is that good. Beancurd skin has a crunch, the soup is so rich in flavour, everything just complemented very well together. Order mee kia for āramenā vibes. Price is also affordable at $4.30!
$16 before svc charge gst, comes with rice and some small side dishes. Tofu is very silky and goes well with the stew. Ordered level 3 spiciness (out of 4) and they called it āSingaporean standardā (level 2 is āJapanese standard) but it felt like a normal budae jiggae spiciness level to me
The lor mee is a must try, next time i will order 2 small lor mee. Itās a nice restaurant for families and groups.
Was very satisfied with my meal. Had a range of choices for appetiser, main and desserts. Also had complimentary pecan pie which was very delicious as it was my friendās birthday, i think itās a good place to treat for special occasion
