Some meals make you realize the breakfast you deserve just needs a pinch of luxury and a lot of soul. That’s what dawned on me when I finished this wholesome dish at @brassicabkk.
Definitely outdoing yourself, @_cong_wen.

Well seared Foie sitting atop a flavourful, yet not overly irony, locally sourced blood sausage, deliciously juicy housemade apple mostarda (if @brassicabkk could bottle this up it’d be greaaat for Christmas giftings) served with @amanteebakery’s crusty Chestnut Apple & Walnut Sourdough and a fresh Arugula salad.
Salivating already? Don’t hesitate. Limited portions daily.
Available all day till their next menu change!

Also, @amanteebakery is just a few doors down from Brassica, swinging out some mean loaves. Crazy good craftsmanship going on there too.
Oh, such pools of talent in your neighborhood you lucky folks in Bangkok!

Ordered Cashew nuts chicken (~$12), Thai garlic prawns (~$14) and Tom yum soup noodles (~$10). Dishes were average tasting and without using Burpple 1-1 deal, I feel is not so worth it for the price.
For the prawns, garlic sauce was quite fragrant but the prawns felt “separate” from the dish, as though cooked on their own and then added to the sauce.
The tom yum soup was not bad with the soft noodles, flavour was there, but the soup tasted like it’s from a packet.

This dish was rather disappointing, also we had ordered it with lifted expectations - 1) pasta was too oily 2) ingredients don’t really mix well together, garlic taste was underwhelming while the cheese was too much 3) beef cubes were totally overcooked, no flavour and very tough to bite.
