The breakfast platter, at its best. Hearty breakfast achieved!
Cream of mushroom comes in powder stock packets without any ingredients. It was lovely adding in some pasta to complete the soup :)
We set out to find good oysters, and found a place with a good view, and comfortable ambience.... The combination I had: Surf Å„ turf, oysters by the dozen and house wine. Thumbs up.
A trip to Common Man Coffee Roasters (CMCR) on a beautiful Sunday morning reignited my love sparks for the true roast of coffee! Indeed, the true quality of good coffee lies beyond the walls of Starbucks and Coffee Bean even in a small country like Singapore. Coffee enthusiasts will not settle for a cup of coffee which does not satisfy their hunger for the true roast; one that lingers sip after sip. The last time I drank coffee of similar quality and fragrance was from Campos Coffee in Sydney. I’m so glad CMCR delivers such tasteful coffee! The constant crowd keeps the staff on their feet and gives the café it's lively atmosphere.
With a common man full breakfast (organic scrambled eggs, sourdough toast, back bacon, sausage, grilled tomatoes, chorizo hashbrowns, house-made chorizo baked beans and juicy portobello mushrooms) and an aromatic flat white, the breakfast I had was more than complete and satisfying. It filled not only my stomach, but my soul as well! How could I have missed this gem, really? Surely, I will return for more for to indulge in their special brew and food.

Never underestimate the power of potatoes. Potato pancake with sour cream, Homemade apple sauce and spring onions is the best comfort food you can have!
I'm definitely a lover of sausages. Bratwurst is no exception, especially when it comes with sauerkraut and chili!
Never leave Fremantle without tasting their fish Å„ chips. Love it.
Nothing else I say will justify how tasty this bowl of seafood chowder is. Top quality soup, seafood taste lingers all the way to the last spoon. A must-try, at Kailis. Best enjoyed outdoors, right beside the Harbour of Fremantle.
