A good combination of tangy tomato passata, with creamy burrata rolled in pesto sauce. Never have thought this would turn out to be quite decently good. Even better because it's 1 for 1 on burrple!
Third time having this and still liking it as much. But this time round we ordered the dumpling platter! Besides fried pierogi, my new found love is their veggie mandu! I actually avoid ordering anything with the name "mandu" because I don't like korean dumpling, but this is nice. Worth it for 30% off the bill when using Burpple.
Huge chunks of salmon and tuna. The portion is definitely suffient though the bowl looks small here. Fresh salmon were nlt marinated and I prefer this over the spicy salmon. A good balance on the amount of carbs and meat!
Ordered a dozen of naked oysters and they were not bad. Personally prefer oysters to have more sweet taste to it. But these are quite mild, imo. Still, they are definitely firm and plump!

Went Serg Gardens many times and somehow didn't notice this place. But today, it's the best food to have in such a cold chilly weather! The herbal soup is not as 'gao' as other places but still not that bad. The meat were soft and tender which peel off from the bone easily! Love the fact that they serve garlic, chili padi and dark sauce. Garlic is the key...👌
There's always a queue here during meal time so we decided to give it a try. After 30mins wait, we finally managed to get in. It's a small place and due to the pandemic, they restricted the number of peoole dining in. We ordered special tendon, which consist of vegetables and chicken breast. The chicken breast is soft and not dry at all. Tempura is still my favourite item. The portion of rice is not a lot. Overall, hmm personal rating 3/5?
Besides chirashi don, Omote also serves non sushi rice bowls! We ordered garlic yakiniku don which consist of thin garlic slices, beef slices and onions. It smells and tastes so flavorful! I'm a fan of garlic, so this is definitely in my repeat order list!
This is so huge that it's big enough for 2 people! It's sushi rice so I love it! Rice portion is really a lot. The mountain is mainly made up of rice. But it's also loaded with loads of sashimi bits. Definitely will visit again!
They extended the place with more seats opposite their main store. Love the place as its bright and simple. Pulled pork egg benedicts were good! Prefer this over the ham and cheese sandwich which is a bit too salty for me. Cruffin was good too. It's far from my area but I will visit here again!
I must say that their set meals are really affordable and the meat quality is not too bad for the price. If you don't want to have too much carbs, there are 3 sizes of rice available. Which is something I really like so there's no wastage if I don't finish it. All sets come with a bowl of rice, kimchi, miso soup and meat of your choice. I kinda like the beef steak set as it is soft and juicy! Imo, pork jowl is hard to chew, which is something I don't like.
The queue is never ending and the wait is long. So be ready to queue if you would like to try!
Received a box of sweet treats from Jo. Tried the Dark Chocolate Ganache and I love it! The toppings are crunchy and the cupcake is really not overly sweet, just nice for my liking. It is soft and moist and not too dense. Can't wait to try the rest of it for tea break tomorrow!
Missing this right now. The outer layer is super crispy and soft on the inside. Dip it with with sauce, yum! Everywhere in this market sells this pancake. You can see many ahjummas sizzling it in hot pans! Definitely worth the try!
