had a great time with my friend over at chir chir on tuesday! wasn't too crowded and the food was yummy. the cheese dakgalbi wasn't too spicy and its perfect for those who prefer boneless chicken. garlicky chicken was not too bad too, but would be better if it could be more tender. overall would definitely recommend anyone craving for korean fried chicken !
Had a lovely evening at Mazzo the other day! The fried calamari rings was a great start to the meal and the service was great! The staff had asked if my friend and I were sharing the crabmeat pasta, and they had kindly portioned it without us asking for it. We also had the signature mazzo pizza and the beef tenderloin steak to share, which was delicious. Definitely recommend others to try the pizza!!
I had such a fantastic dinner here at Fat Belly Social that I just had to leave a review of my experience! I've been to their first outlet at Serene Centre and I would say it's very different from Fat Belly Social. The ambience is lovely, great for friends or couples to dine at for a gastronomic experience.
I had the Spicy Crispy Pig's Ear to start off, and I was pleasantly surprised at how addictive it was! The dip on the side perfectly complemented the spicy flavour. Next, I had the Uni, Lardo & Caviar Toast. That was so indulgent, and I'd definitely recommend anyone to try before having the main course. I'm not a fan of Uni, but this dish really changed my mind about Uni!
For the star of the night, I shared two different steaks with my friend, Black Opal Wagyu Zabuton and the 2GR Full Blood Wagyu Rib Cap (with the Bordelaise & Salsa Verde sauce). Their steaks were of course, amazing and I kept wishing we had more! I think my favourite was the Zabuton as each bite was so heavenly. Really enjoyed digging into these two Wagyu steaks!
We also had the Grilled Mushrooms and Beef Heart Tomato. The portions were huge and definitely good for sharing amongst a table. Perfect to munch on while chatting with your friends! I enjoyed the mushrooms dish the most, with so many different types of mushrooms within and the dressing that came with it was marvellous as well.
And finally, I shared the Eton Mess with my friend. I was so full at this point but I couldn't say no to desserts! It was a lovely combination of meringues, whipped cream and pineapple sorbet within. This was most definitely a sweet ending to our feast at Fat Belly Social.
Dining experience was 10/10 (with attentive service as well) and I'd definitely be back to try all the different dishes (and steaks of course!). If you're still considering to head down, just do it! You're sure to have a more than satisfying time here.
Passed by Yomieâs when I was at Westgate the other day, and I decided to give this healthier alternative to bbt a try. The wait for my drink wasnât too long, which was great.
First sip of my drink and I fell in love! I personally love yogurt and strawberry, and the drink that I ordered, âStraw To My Berryâ, was perfect.
Definitely recommend others to try!! đđ»
I've been wanting to try this place for the longest time, and I'm glad I finally did! The steaks at Fat Belly were amazing. Not sure which I preferred more, the Denver was leaner and had a good bite to it, while the Deckle was so juicy and tender!
Loved the sides too, the mushrooms and creamed kale were a lovely complement to the mains. I got the Tiramisu dessert and it was so good that I wanted more!
Portions were large and I felt so full after the meal. But it was great, and I would come back soon to have more steaks đ
Woke up early on a Saturday to try out the brunch here and I really enjoyed dining there!
Didnât have to wait too long for the food too, around 20-25mins. I ordered the Turkish Eggs, something Iâve never tried before. The spiced yogurt was interesting and I thought the sourdough bread was good. Portions was large too! Would definitely recommend others to try this place out
The food here was amazing! I tried the Kurobuta Pork Loin Chop, and the truffle mash was 10/10! The components of the dish went really well together. I saw truffle fries on the menu too and I just couldnât resist getting it.
Wanted to end my dinner on a sweet note with a dessert, but the one i wanted to try, Kaya Toast, was sold out. So I tried Choconana instead, and it was so yummy too - Love the banana cake!
Didnât expect it to be pretty crowded on a Monday so i would recommend calling in to make a reservation if you're planning to dine there.
