Truffle Wagyu Beef Bowl ($13.90+)

The beef was tender and a tinge of truffle. However, the sauce on the rice makes the whole dish salty and hard to finish.

Went here on a PH eve which there is no Burpple Beyond deal. And sad to say, this bowl is only worth its price when there is the deal. However, might be back to try their mentaiko salmon bowl someday.

Keu Ppong Cream ($17.90++)
This is meant for the cheese lovers! It is extremely creamy and can get jelak after a few mouths. So it is good for sharing!

Rating: 4/5

Cha Ppong ($15.80++)
Beware of the heat! We ordered Spicy level 1 and it was already spicy. Not a choice for those that can’t take it. But a good broth with a taste of wok hei!

Rating: 4/5

Tip: order these 2 and mix up the flavor! We actually took the noodles of the creamy Keu Ppong and mix it with the soup of Cha Ppong! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

The portion is huge so would encourage all to buy a few flavors and share. Hope to see the restaurant coming up with meat options in their Ppongs though! Instead of just seafood.

Would recommend to try!

Lemon Meringue Cake ($8.00)

The first bite into this cake blew me away. It has just the right balance of sweet from the meringue and the sour tangy flavor from the lemon cream. This cake is also super moist and dense, which is the texture I prefer when eating cakes.

A delightful change from the usual flavors we see in cake shops and this is definitely worth a try!

小笼包 ($7.50 for 10 pieces)

Was impressed by the quality of these 小笼包s! The pork filling was flavorful, skin is thin and filled with just the right amount of soup! Restaurant quality standard with half the price, what’s there not to love?!

Will definitely be back for more and to try their 锅贴 next!

Pancake with Blueberry (19.90)
Fried Chicken Waffles (21.00)

This was a decent breakfast selection, with a trio stack of thick, fluffy pancakes accompanied with a mini bowl of their maple syrup.
They come with 3 different toppings of your choice:
1) Chocolate Chunks
2) Blueberry Jam
3) Banana Walnut

The blueberry pancake was favorite! Those fluffy pancakes paired with the Blueberry Jam (a hint of sourness from the fruit), together with the warm maple butter, definitely one of the better pancakes in Singapore. Will be back to try their other toppings!

The Fried Chicken Waffles was good too! The batter was flavorful, but wished they had used chicken thigh instead of breast meat as it is a little dry. An interesting combi of sweet and savory! Worth a try!

Goma Cake ($7.80)
Honey Earl Grey Hazelnut cake ($7.80)

Richness of the the sesame cream, paired with the moist and fluffy cake. This allow the cake to be flavorful but palatable at the same time. Give it a try if you are a black sesame lover!

Rating: 3/5

Flavor is light and nutty. The hazelnut taste kinda overpowered the taste of the earl grey. Will give the matcha cake a try the next visit!

Tonkotsu Cha Shu Ramen ($15.90++)

The broth was slightly salty but the cha shu wins it for me. It was tender., flavorful and serving was generous. Food was served quick and is a good place for a quick ramen fix in Cityhall!

Used the Burpple Beyond one for one deal for this which was worth it but wouldn’t come back if I were to pay the original price.
