My third time eating the burgers at this stall run by a young couple. Thee burger looked and tasted better when eaten fresh off the grill. Satisfying meal!

This version is huge. Packed with minced meat and 2 fat oysters for $3. Check their Facebook page for their latest location.

Comes with a reasonable portion of salmon steaks. Probably too much carbs in the dish...but overall not too bad for the price and taste

Huge portion of protein! Can do with more sauce/juice in the pulled pork but hey, it is not bad!

Had this from the stall that sells only char kway teow. Big portion with generous beansprouts. Not many cockles which is fine for me because I am not a fan of cockles. Lacks wok hei flavour and can do with more sweet sauce. But hey! At this price we can't complain!

Had the pork chop which is only $5. Generous portions, fast service. Stall is run by a father and son team, I think. Taste is OK though the pork was tough. But We have to take our hats off for hawkers who continue to sell us food at such bargain prices despite rising costs everywere. Stall closes alot earilier than 10 PM. Was there on a Sat and they closed by 9 pm. (PS for very good chicken cutlet, try the other stall behind it.)

There are a few fish soup stalls at the hawker centre. This one faces the zi char/claypot stall is the "less" famous fish soup stall. Nevertheless it is popular. It serves up a extremely good value for money AND tasty bowl of sliced fish soup. Each bowl comes with many thick batang fish slices, soup and even vegetables. $4 per bowl. Top up 50c for rice. Short waiting time. Opens for dinner too.

Good orh luak is rare to find in Singapore. This stall makes a decent plate of orh luak. It is crispy and the oysters are plump (but I think I ate one stale one and so I changed my mind about wanting to order a takeout for my Teochew parents for snack). The uncle fries this fast so there is not much waiting. Prices $4,5,8. Opens at 1 pm÷. Not sure about closing time.

Best to skip this. Gula melaka was diluted. The green stuff did not taste fresh. Price $1.50. Best to go for one at ABC market.

Got this during the $4.99 (without GST) promotion. Huge slab of fillet and lots of fries. Probably better to eat this dine in. Taste is rather bland..(but guess it is better than salty).

It's really hard to find good oyster omelette in Singapore nowadays. And this stall specialises in it. Although Mr Lim's orh luack can't beat the one I ate in Shantou 2 years ago, for a purebred Teochew, I like it enough!
