A savoury breakfast at the lokal. Everything was wonderful as usual. Creamy, creamy eggs😭
This is the second time that I've come here and it's specially for the banana bread, which was, as expected, a marvellous dish. So fluffy was the bread that it made me squeal with my first bite. The bread is speckled generously with walnuts and the tart homemade yoghurt just elevates it to new culinary heights.
I got the vegan lasagne which was AMAZING. I highly recommend it. The pasta sheets were beautifully toothsome and were not soggy. The cream sauce was out of this world man. Just go. So worth it. It is kind of pricy though, this dish cost me $14.90.
I got a huge HUGE mushroom cheese crepe stuffed to the vein with vegetables, cheese and obviously mushrooms. As you can tell I loved it (PS The portion size is very very filling for one person but not enough for two) I guess that's why Marché has a group dining concept. STILL ATE IT ALL THOUGH🙆
I love churros. Anyone can tell you that. When I see the word "Churros", my face contorts into an expression of both euphoria and wistfulness, because I am reminded harshly of the fact that I cannot survive on these golden treats alone. The Ondeh Ondeh churros were very different from the usual churros that I have eaten. THEY WERE BETTER. Chewy and crispy. Oh my goodness I'll have to go down again. Love ya'll and keep doing what you're doing.
I have no words. Everything about this Veggie Wonderland is magical. The organic eggs were magnificent, poached to perfection and flowing with a rich sunny yolk when nudged. The halloumi was wonderful, salty and pairing well with all the components of the dish. I have no words. Incredible.
The Earl grey cake was stale, hard, dry and crumbly. It was chewy and resembled the texture of a 6-month-old Christmas fruit cake. Perhaps it had been left in the refrigerated display for a long time. I should have gotten the lava cake instead.
The first thing I thought when I picked up the coffee eclair ($5.40) was "Dang, it's HEAVY." Not only that though. It was rich with a smooth chocolate flavour that made me want to swoon. I got it with the walnut and raisin bread and this hungry girl consumed both by herself🌚
