4 pieces of waffles with a few strips of bacon - $20. Tbh it is quite underwhelming as it was listed as a main. Wont be coming back for this, perhaps other items on the menu.

Regardless, food was good although i do wonder how Jaffles was coined when it’s simply thick warm toast stuffed with a balanced mix of ingredients. Coffee was pretty awesome and i wouldnt mind coming back just for it again.

Guan kee seafood’s signature. Generous serving of sambal and lots of fleshy meat. You definitely cant go wrong with this dish!
I didnt enjoy my beef sandwich the first time I had PBD. Gave it a second try together & was completely blown away! PB&J was so delicious and makes for the perfect perk-me-up sweetener with its cornflake-crusted chocolate & milk bread, raspberry jam, tater tots and a thick dollop of peanut butter! Topped it off with a good Egg sandwich which tasted so comforting and homely. You cant go wrong with eggs.
Memorable experience at Shiki. The Autumn Ramen and a chef-recommended Smokey Peppery Tonkotsu Ramen. Both soup bases were distinct and flavourful - Autumn with a strong hint of truffle alongside a generous serving of mushrooms, and the latter a unique concoction that tasted true to its name. Their Michelin star is well-deserved.
Was surprised to find Hawker at Jewel and decided to its locally inspired menu a shot. The hot and piping chicken rice burger was completely on point - tasted just like its namesake despite the slightly unappetizing outlook. However, price point is a concern as i think $9 is hard to part for a downsized serving when the $5 chicken rice stall is just a few steps away.
Once again, pizzaexpress doesnt disappoint. Great food at wallet friendly prices!
Flat white is super fragrant and mocha has a strong base but is a wee bit too chocolatey. Very good deal with burpple 1 for 1! Cafe has a simple layout, tucked away in a quiet alley facing National Library. I do hope they get a steady stream of regulars as their coffee is one of the better ones in the area!
