The food was okay. Service however, disappointing. The staff seemed cranky all the time. We were there to celebrate our friend’s birthday, despite patronising them, they refused to allow us to use their plates for the birthday cake. They had already passed us the plates, but took them back and waved us away when they realised that it was for the cake. Disappointing.
The pulled pork bowl I ordered was good, but the ribeye steak bowl was even better. Get the beef bowl! It comes with cauliflower rice, so you feel less guilty about having too much carbs.
Both really light and refreshing desserts to cleanse the palate after a heavy dinner. This is our second time visiting this place and we always enjoy their desserts!
The pulled pork filling made the bun below soggy, otherwise it would have been a really good dish. The chilli crab baked eggs wasn’t too bad.
What’s not to love at Chomp Chomp. Satay, sambal stingray and large glasses of sugarcane juice are always a must.
Crazy crowd and queue during brunch. We liked the truffle scrambled eggs from the breakfast menu. And the Angus beef with mushrooms from the dinner menu. So, so fulfilling.
Nothing beats good ol’ kaya toast to warm the tummy. A simple place with affordable food. They have kaya toast (thin crispy or normal) and the steamed bread version too.
Rice fragrant and flavourful. The chicken had a good marinade and the sambal was yum! Get it with their sambal lala, matchmade in heaven.
We had the cheesesteak, cubano and patty melt. And three of us collectively agreed that we liked the patty melt the best. The patty was well marinated and went well with the sourness of the pickles, and that cheese! 👍🏼👍🏼
