Was introduced to this stall about five years back. The long queue often deterred me, but sometimes what the stomach wants, the stomach gets. I usually order the $8 bowl because you get more "liao" than the $5, and still have some space left over for after-meal drinks and dessert.

My first time having this Nasi Goreng Ayam, and boy did I love it! Every grain held the tangy chilli, and the chicken was another world of flavour and lovingly coated in sauce. Also gotta love how the strips of cool cucumber helped to take heat off my mouth.â €

Gorgeous hideout space with plenty of light and comfy booths at the back, perfect for shared brunches. But when alone, I love having a cuppa at the wooden tables outside and lazily watching the Telok Ayer street life, and sharing this excellent coffee ($6) with the resident wall mascot.
