Visited Michael's Bar and Grill last week with my friends, I ordered the lamb ribs with mash potatoes and truffle fries and I found the ribs surprisingly tender and succulent with little gamey flavour. I also highly recommend the mash potatoes as it was creamy and flavourful. We also ordered the buffalo wings at $10 for 4 wings which was quite affordable and were also tangy and subtly spicy. Huge shout out to their wide range of drinks with beers starting at 5 per bottle to shots at $1 which is one of the main reason I will highly recommend to people who are trying to find a chill place with affordable drinks to chill at�

I visited shukuu restaurant last Saturday and was thoroughly impressed by it. Being foreign to the concept of izakayas, I went in not knowing what to order and yet the owner were patient in explaining their specialties and concept and thus I was impressed by their service. They also had a wide range of yakitori which goes well with their in house sake(we ordered their premium sweet one) and I highly recommend their chicken meatballs which had a great ratio of fat and meat, making the meatballs tender yet having a good bite to them. My favourites were their premium grilled beef tongue and crab gratin. The beef tongue was well seasoned and grilled to perfection and the crab gratin was served with a generous amount of mentaiko on it, slightly flamed on top to bring out the flavour. With a fantastic ambience and excellent food, I will recommend anyone to give this place a try.
