Am a fan of paofan (rice in broth) to substitute with porridge. This is T.K second outlet which i have a good experience at their first Teban Garden outlet. I’m surprise now they partner with Partea for their drinks menu! 😋

I got their signature ginseng chicken ($12) and X.O fish seafood paofan ($13)! I must say both taste very well, i prefer their seafood broth though. Tons of seafood ingredients.

Fire Ramen to start a new year!

This the first time I visit a ramen shop who set fire Infront of me. I would say that this experience is worth going let alone its very Instagramable! The staff will record video for you so you can watch how you got burnt, I mean the ramen. Super effort!

I ordered their signature Shoyu Fire Ramen ($17.90). I found that the chicken broth here was actually pretty addictive, there was this aftermath burnt smell which is very interesting. The ramen wasn’t the best but the fire show is.

Its also on Burpple Beyond so its very worth 😊

Nasi Lemak hunt! 😋

This time round I went to try somesay the longest queue stall in Adam Food Centre!

I ordered their Royal Flush set ($5.50)! (Second expensive, i think its the most popular one too!) Its comes with chicken wing, otah, bergedil and egg! I love the rice and wings. The rice is very aromatic and perfect with chili. Worth the wait! ✅

Oyster Intestine Mee Sua ($7.20). The mee sua is very different from the one you got from Shilin. It’s full of ingredients and it's very well balanced, not too salty. If the price is like in Taiwan, I will give it 💯/💯! ✅

What happens if you miss Taiwan so badly? 🇹🇼

Fret not… you can always eat authentic Taiwanese food in Singapore! You know it's authentic when the staff are Taiwanese 💁‍♂️. Last time I used to frequent their Braised Pork Rice at Seah Im outlet, but then it got moved to Crawford Lane. I have finally visited their second outlet in the West at Pasir Panjang.

I ordered their signature Braised Pork Rice ($5). Aside from the price, I really enjoy the braised pork rice. It has a nice ratio of pork meat and fats braised on top of fluffy-short grain rice. I would wish the braised gravy to be more, I know it's sinful.
