It was a great dessert experience and wanted to say thanks to the staff there 😊 apart from the interesting ice-cream flavours and real friendly service, what left an impression was seeing the female staff wipe every single plate dry carefully (and left to air dry) for the waffles and the male staff carrying a freshly boiled pot of water for the self-service water to refill the jar. Even the water cups are glass, instead of disposable, which is great. Might not seem like much to others, but most places nowadays, especially in times of covid, do not serve water and/or usually serve tap water in plastic cups. Same goes for the sampling, they allow sampling and it was really much appreciated!

The lady also checked in on us if all was well on her way back from serving others’ waffles. I was taken aback and didn’t get to tell her that the ice cream and waffles were both really nice 😂 I don’t usually like waffles but this was airy and not dense which didn’t make me feel jelak. Also thank you for accommodating the request for extra maple syrup!

They have a mystery flavour, and if you get the ingredients right they offer you a scoop of it for free! We got a free scoop, but if we hadn’t it was honestly fun trying to guess. Love the ambience and decor, and also loved that the place was spacious. Foresee this place to be packed with the friendly service and interesting flavours - will be back! 🥰

Back here for a third time and always love the steak, especially on 1-for-1 deals 🤤 $29++ for two, and service is always good too.

Used to be steak bowl @ $14+ but has since been changed to wagyu beef bowl @ $18+. Sadly, the previous one was nicer. At the higher price point, the beef was dry & tough and just really disappointing. Have been back multiple times for the steak bowl with my partner but we would both definitely not get this again. Perhaps other items on the menu would still be good.

With Burpple one-for-one, the dish was definitely worth it. Paid ~$23 for two plates of pasta.

Definitely our favorite between this and the hae bee hiam pasta for both me & my partner. The pasta was flavorful with a little chili and tangy lime that we wished it came with more pasta!

The dou miao was a nice touch to the plate of fragrant pasta, and the plate of pasta was sufficiently wet enough for my liking.

Got cheese green tea which was a nice mix of sweet and salty, my only gripe was that it is tough to enjoy such drinks on a straw.

Received a free x’mas mask with each drink, such a nice gesture from the friendly owners!

Forgot to take a photo until we were halfway into the meal 😆 one-for-one BB definitely worth it! Had the set with drink and damage per pax around $14/pax after surcharges.

Prawn & chorizo
A good dish if you want something light and appetizing cause of the tomato base. Prawns were fresh and big (there were 5!), only a couple of slices of chorizo but it was a nice contrast in flavours and yummy.

Yakiniku beef rice bowl
Great variety of ingredients in the bowl! And beef was really nicely done, look at the pinkish colour! Came with a sunny side up (sous vide egg ran out), corn, greens, carrots, edamame, cherry tomatoes, mushrooms. Really worth the price.

Drinks
Went for iced white. Made the mistake of getting it sweetened because some cafes have their coffee bitter, but this wasn’t. Nice coffee here tho, just like in Aussie.

Overall
Definitely would visit again.

Both bowls are good value for money. Salmon is definitely the healthier option or for someone going on a clean diet.

Both were great and we have visited several times for the beef bowl. Love the variety of ingredients, onsen egg, kale, mushrooms and of course the beef!! Great value for money and even better with Burpple one-for-one.

Ordered the braised beef cheeks and the beef short ribs pasta; personally liked the pasta more for its flavour/sauce

Went some time back and we got the aglio olio and carbonara, staff was kind to let me swap out the mushrooms for bacon instead. Aglio had a really spicy kick for me (not good with spicy) but I really liked it. Carbonara also a good choice. Cold brew was too milky yet very mild on coffee taste. Would go back for both pastas again!
