8.90 basically large chunk of chocolate ice cream with oreo in it, on a cookie crumble base and doused with chocolate sauce and something.
12ish. Moist chicken breast, lettuce, tomato and a smear of mustard sandwiched between crusty savoury sesame flute. Perfectly balanced in terms of flavour and texture.
12 nett, lunch set. Rice bowl of unagi with egg, served with dressed salad and miso soup. Very comforting - tender and sweet eel with fluffy rice and egg. Only thing is that the rice was perhaps not warm enough to cook the egg and I was eating raw, gluey textured egg. Definitely worth a trip though. No reservations for lunch.
14. I roll my eyes whenever people rave about "al dente" pasta that is in fact mushy. This beauty here though is al dente, ie firm to the bite. Lightly dressed with bacon, sausage, spinach, eggplant, tomatoes, egg, sesame/mirin/? Light yet filling.
12 Likka warm cheesecake. Crisp exterior fluffy interior. I do wish it could be more fluffy though heeh. Savor while it is hot!
7. In plain English, this is a apple and almond tart. Buttery pastry crust filled with custard, apples and topped with almond and powdered sugar. Goes perfectly with a cup of tea. The flan was balanced in flavours (not one dimensionally sweet).

2.60 for a bread basket of half a flute/ 6ish for soup of the day. The sesame flute is one of the best I've had in Singapore. Chewy on the inside, crusty on the outside. The toasted sesame tied it all together. Thoroughly enjoyed the broccoli soup too. It was light and had the distinct taste of broccoli (not cream).

7.30 for dry la mian with dried shrimp and scallion oil/ 8.80 for soup la mian with vegetable pork wonton. La mian had good texture and bite. Dry la mian was savoury and sinful. Mum and I found the soup a tad too salty (but that's perhaps because we have lighter palates). Those wontons are awesome tho-generous and full of umami-!
7.50 Huge piece of moist white fish. Savory curry that was made with tonkotsu broth (vs water). Belly is happy, and so is my wallet.
2.50 onwards. The lor mee isn't the famous lor mee at Amoy. But it is a big name at Albert St. The fried fish is g-o-o-d. And overall, I enjoyed the gravy and the noodles. Generous portions for price. On the other hand, beef noodles was meh.
