Heart meal, accessible location and definitely a cosy place to relax with your friends over dinner and coffee! So easy to locate because it's literally in The Cathay. So much love for the angus beef, ahh the thought of it makes me wanna have a second go at it soon someday. However, the truffle fries is a lil disappointing i must say. All in all, t'was good!
What's good on a cold, rainy, sweater weather day? A plateful of warm and crispy waffles, topped with an ice cream of your choice! Accompanied with a cup of hot chocolate... Uhumm! With tons of side dishes to choose from, be it soup, or even seafood, you can get it all. Torn between chicken, beef or lamb? Why not have all of it? How about pasta? Alfredo, carbonara and variety of aglio olio to choose from. Not to mention about the huge serving. Really worth the price! And it's perfect to pamper those empty tummies! All in all, a good place to try out if you wanna have a generous portion of western meal! Located just 15 mins away from Bugis Mrt!
Located at Bugis area, and probably a 15 mins walk from Bugis Mrt. This is a place where everyone is oogling over their signature rainbow crepes and cakes, i'm all in for the meal set! I've tried the rainbow crepe and cakes, and for once i felt that the long wait wasn't at all worth it. However, i gave a second try and tried the meal and it's so goood! The pictures tells it all, and i'm in love with the burger. Forgot how much it costs me, but come on, how about giving their awesome meal a go! Promise you, I Am won't disappoint! Alongside with this, i had lychee mint mojito. Not for you non-mint lovers for sure! But, a good try!
Definitely a gooood cosy place to hangout with your friends. Beautiful cottage concept, which has a window looking exterior that lives up to its name, windowsill. Super cosy environment i must say. And it's just 5 mins away from Lavender Mrt. A place to indulge in good pies, be it the ones with or without alcohol ones. The ones i've tasted is non-alcoholic ; S'mores and Lemon Meringue. S'mores is darn good, topped with marshmellows and biscuit! Just nice and you won't have those sick in the throat feeling, due to the chocolate. Highly recommended! Lemon meringue is good as well. Rich is lemony flavour, and oh the meringue on top is good as well. Accompanied the pies is, Iced Mocha And Iced Chai Latte and this Chai Latte is only for those who love spicy drinks! You're warned. I'm not a fan, and i have to let it rot instead because the taste is just.... Unexplainable. In all, a good place to try out. But, not a place i would go twice. Once is good.
Truffle fries. Black Velvet Cake. Super duper delicious waffles, with a generous amount of good ol' maple syrup and chocolate sauce for you indecisive people out there (like me! Ehems),and it's perfect enough for me. Loved how simple orders like this, still lingers in my mind up till now. And i swear, the waffles may looked pretty plain but, it's one of the best i've tasted! A cafe that is pretty packed with human traffic, but there must be a reason why they're infested with all the human right? Hmm. And oh! They brew real good coffee as well. Good place for coffee lovers and, how bout adding a lil spice to the long talks with a friend, by having their not so clichè cake, Black Velvet!
Looks pretty sweet aye? Indeeed! But definitely, tolerable for you sweetooth out there! Tried out a few good stuff from Butter Studio, including their Sea Salt Caramel Red Velvel cake and Pistachio chocolate pie. Amazing! A good cosy hangout place for sure! Here, it's what i tried because, i'm such a Nutella Lover. Pancakes, with Generous amount of Nutella Spread, with banana and strawberry slices, and wait that's not it! It is then completed with caramel drizzle. Damn son! Sweetness level : OVERLOAD! Yums!
Who would have thought, there would be a small hidden gem located at the neighbourhood? Well well, there is now and it's over at Yishun! Warm, crispy, fragrant waffles, with over a dozen, close to 20 ice cream choices to choose from. Cheap and good! The place may be a lil' too small though, however it doesn't disappoint at all! Ice cream flavours includes rocher, NY cheesecake and Thai Milk Tea. Price range : $6.50 for classic waffles with a scoop of ice cream, or $7.50 for supreme flavours.
Decided to go simple by ordering their most basic waffle of all! Crispy waffles, topped with a dollop of simple rich vanilla ice cream, and a dash of mixed berries! Sounds boring, but you can never go wrong with waffles. If the waffles is good, anything added on, will only make it better. Not bad, for a start. And they even have Red Velvet or S'mores Waffles for you adventurous people out there! Yumsss.
