Grilled beef with onsen egg and sprinkled with fish skin. My go-to meal in CBD when I’m craving for a beefy lunch 😋
Finally got to try the famous chicken rice restaurant. Upon stepping in to the restaurant, we were asked to order the dishes. However, they do not have any menu. So the recommended some dishes to us without telling us what the prices are. Personally, I’m not very comfortable to order food if I do not know their price. What you see from the photo costs about $30, pretty reasonable. The chicken was the most tender chicken I’ve ever tried (comparing to chicken rice stalls). That said, I still prefer the chicken skin to be a little crispy.
Taurus special - Black & White party! Brown Sugar Fresh Milk With Pearl $3 only ☺️
Super worth with Burpple Beyond 1-1. Fluffy toasts and caramelize banana. Perfect combi 💯
This is one of my favourite wanton noodle restaurants, they have perfected this simple dish. Eng’s noodle is slightly thicker, softer and really falvourful. I would recommend you to top up with Fried Wanton ($3) and Ngoh Hiang ($6) too!
Brown Sugar Milk + Cream Cheese is da bomb! PERFECT COMBI! R&B gave very generous portion of cheese. And even though I don’t like pearls, I really love theirs - the texture and taste are 💯
One of the most affordable lobster roll that you can find in Singapore! It really lives up to its store name - the dish is served with chunky piece of lobster sandwiched in toasted bread bun 🤤
One of my favorites at Grain Traders. It comes with tuna tataki, soba, mushroom, pickled cucumbers & slaw.
The wasabi sauce really complements the dish too.
That said, the price is a little steep for lunch in CBD.
Tender and juicy chicken, spread with teriyaki sauce. You are able to get this for $8 with MealPal 😍
Seeet and juicy prawn with Kurobuta pork belly. This prawn noodle is truly unique and delicious. This explains why there’s usually a long queue at the stall. You have to try this if you are at Pasir Ris Central Hawker Centre!
Shake Farm is my to-go place when I’m looking for light healthy hearty meal.
This chicken pita pockets are made with hormone free chicken breast, cherry tomatoes, spinach, mayonnaise and wholemeal pita bread.
If you have big appetite, this is definitely not filling for you.
Craving for something soupy in rainy days? Gu Thai is the place to go! Love the combination of Tung Hoon with Tom Yum. Their Tom Yum is not overly spicy, but I still prefer my tomyum to be a little more creamy/milky 😅
