love the ambiance of L5 jewel! this is my second time to this place so decided to try the angus rib-eye ($33) and baked scallop carbonara ($20). the steak was great! it was tender and flavourful, however the carbonara was a bit of a let down. it tasted a bit strange.

we also got their passion fruit cooler ($6) which was nice! not too sweet and very refreshing.

will definitely go back as they have an array of choices ranging from western to local-fusion, just maybe not the carbonara.

used both my deals on the same night for a group of 5. was pleasantly surprised that our total came up to ~$10 each! for high quality japanese rice bowls, i would consider upgrading to premium just for this restaurant.

only downside was service was a bit slow due to it being slightly crowded even though it was 6.30pm on a weekday night. do go early to ensure you get a table as there was a long queue!!

this was rly one of the best bowls i’ve had! signature truffle wagyu bowl was an absolute stunner. you can taste the truffle and beef was nice and tender. 30% off was extremely worth it! two bowls came up to about $22.

this restaurant made me think twice about being on lite and only having 2 redemptions 😅

used the 1-1 for this truffle egg toast and the big breakfast. truffle eggs were very fragrant! however, i don’t think i’d visit again as their menu selection is really small and the 1-1 burpple redemption applies to only ~5 dishes on their menu.

used burpple 1–1 on french toast ($15) and scrambled eggs croissant ($11) + 2 cold brews ($6/.50 each).

french toast is absolutely superb! one of the better brunch cafes i’ve been to and will definitely patronize again. cold brew wasn’t that great tho... but had to get it for the 1-for-1 deal. can get a little loud if it’s full but towards the later afternoon (~230pm) it gets quieter and makes for a lovely place to catch up w friends!

ordered the australian ribeye ($30) and the spatchcock chicken ($28) with a side of truffle fries ($6). with the 1-for-1, meal was definitely worth it. picture shown is aft i shared the dishes.

ribeye was tasty w the natural jus sauce! rly enjoyed the flavour of the beef but meat was a bit on the tougher side.

spatchcock chicken was very well flavored as well! although there were a few bloody bits (could be from it being frozen?).

truffles fries definite yums!

ambience is lovely and v nice for date nights, will definitely eat here again!

Butter rum banana french toast ($~20, can’t remember the exact price) was nice! although the middle of the toast was soft and a bit too eggy for my liking. although it was nice, probably wouldn’t eat it again. also had a side of scrambled eggs and toast (not pictured - $10) which was v worth!

went early on a Sunday morning (930am) and crowd was not too bad. it does get more crowded towards actual brunch time so do make reservations if you can!
