We visited the restaurant on 11th February 2022. It was a Friday evening yet we were not allowed to use our Burpple voucher as they claimed that its the Valentine’s Day weekend. We checked the exclusions on Burpple t&cs and it was stated only Vday and Vday eve was excluded. There was no indication that we can’t use on Vday weekend. Furthermore it was a FRIDAY! This is pretty unfair for consumers who aren’t aware. I hope this post can warn others on this peculiar EXCLUSION that the restaurant came up with. We won’t be going back anymore even if the food is good.
Was pretty decent portion and it tasted more on the peppery side which I found it quite spicy after a while. The ordering was confusing though, since it was under SMOO bar, along with some Thai menu. I did not see the Boba Menu at all.
Don’t be deceived by this image because it was really filling! Perfect blend of buckwheat, ham, mushroom and favourite oozing egg! If this isn’t the place that serves the best French crepes, let me know where else!
Love the mixed mushroom pizza and pork bolognese pasta! The ingredients were extremely juicy and fresh with a soft texture to the pizza! Highly recommended and even more worthy with Burpple 1-1 😊
Pretty affordable - delicious noodles & juicy dumplings! The Sichuan dumplings was one of their signatures, though I didn’t like it as much as the originals. But it’s worth a try if you like spicy food!
Definitely one of the best pizza bistro to head to. Lovely retro ambiance, unique flavoured pizzas, and highly recommended to order their buffalo wings - the taste was pretty special though a tad pricey.
A perfect well blended cold pasta. Love the yuzu taste from the pasta alongside with the fresh Ikura. Would have been better if the portion was slightly larger.
One of the signatures at Tung Lok. However, the taste of the curry powder overpowered the chili. The crab was meaty and fresh but have tasted much better chili crab.
Ordered the European ($24) - a simple plated breakfast meal that tasted extremely great with the brioche. I like that the brioche was not toasted to extreme, giving it a soft bite with the well done poached eggs, prosciutto ham, cheese and portobello mushroom. Lovely!
The aglio olio was not spicy at all. The olive oil overpowered the chilli, resembling a plate of healthy home cooked pasta. However, they were pretty generous with the number of prawns at the amount priced.
Overrated laksa but I did not find it great at all. The noodles did not absorb the sauce, it did not give a lasting mouthful taste. The lobster was succulent and fresh, but the others were nothing fantastic. Would not recommend this dish and it is not worthy of its hefty price tag, $45.
It had a nice ambience for drinking and chilling but was a tad bit disappointed in this main, preferably down to personal preference. If you like SUPER crispy waffles, fried to perfection chicken, hard and crispy to bite food, it would be your call!
