jjm was $12 ($10 during lunch) and the stew was about $15 if I'm not wrong. you're served by Korean stuff in this quaint spot and the food definitely didn't disappoint! always heard from my friends around me about how this place serves up the best jjm in Singapore and it definitely blew me away enough to land this restaurant in my top picks.
The chocolate cake was perfect and not too jelat. Tea had a unique taste :-)
Fish was a tad salty for me but the chicken was amazing (im sorry I really cannot remember the dish name). The side order of truffle fries was amazing (my love for truffle fries knows no boundaries). Second post coming up.
10/10 for creativity, 7.5/10 for taste (got a little sick of it after awhile but luckily I was nearing the end of the dish) good to try once but will probably try the other menu items during the next trip!
Really cozy place serving up amazing pastas!!! Clockwise from top left: spaghetti with meatballs (this is definitely not the actual name), the platter (ditto), teriyaki chicken pasta (ditto) and the seafood Aglio olio which is just AMAZING and blew my socks off. A little oily though, all the pastas, but it's definitely ok once in a while :-) this cafe is really popular with students, do come early to grab a good seat!
It was meh and didn't satisfy my cravings 😒 the hot chocolate was worse let's not talk about it lol, maybe the Nutella hot chocolate will be better?
Overrated (nothing special really) but ice cream was decent.
Back here again for more naanwich goodness 👍 gotta love the nachos they give free with every naanwich ordered. Also just had to order the crispy soy drumlets again, too guuuud.
Had the beef and kimchi naanwich with some wings and the balance between acidity of the kimchi and richness of the beef was just perfect. Wings were also crisp and had me finger licking right till the last wing :') Glad that there are finally halal cafés popping up in the sg scene! :-)
I had the BLT (hence the title of the post), my friends had the shepherd's pie and salmon sandwich something (🙊🙊🙊) and all had good reviews pretty much! ☺️
