i love the sweet pastry it's really good and fluffy :)
forgot the names of our coffees oops (both the first 2 whites on the menu) but they have an interesting array of flavors! the barista also explained the menu to us ☺️ this cafe is lowkey out of place in bras basah and kinda small but nice homey vibes yeh

Sooooo value for money!! me and my friend sat at the top counter and got a pretty g view of the cafe haha. very friendly staff, good asf burgers and even better price. my burger had mushrooms veg and cheese, and my friend had the pulled pork w some picked cabbage i think. the brioche buns were buttered perfectly.. comparable to shake shack's buns but healthier heh.

tldr; amazing buns πŸ”

smoked pork steak, mozzarella patty, sautΓ©ed mushrooms, sunny side + all sorts bagel

GOOD SHIT SO EX $20 BUT LUV ❀️❀️
recipe from my friend oops so creds to her

also whenever they run out of stock for bagels alw get all sorts. it's the best out of all the bagel flavors imo.

they hv a lottt of craft beers and some rly good looking pastries which i haven't tried but i'll prob be back! the burpple deal says takeaway but if u go when there's nobody they'll let u sit there :D the barista & ppl working there r rly nice

firstly, wow the service here seriously blew me away.
1. she asked me if i was cold and that she could change the temperature when i was holding myself
2. they give free coconut kuehs after you finish your mains!

this is really one of the better peranakan restaurants in sg. my mom (a peranakan herself) said this was better than Peramakan and the orchard peranakan restaurant - so yeah the standard is there 😁

i really recommend the aloe vera lemon grass drink, and their desserts (we got gula melaka and chendol) were pretty πŸ‘πŸΌ too

will definitely come back here with my family :)

Pretty good food: char siew pork and duck were well marinated and very succulent. The beef stir fry had a very distinctive wok taste!!

However, the service was quite slow even with the automatic food serving system. The place has a very confusing mixed interior - French lights, Portuguese tiles on the wall, pictures of Singapore in the past ??? 😐 So i'd say the atmosphere is 6/10. Ngl i came here with high expectations due to the many positive reviews, but i was quite disappointed with the slow service and weird choice of decorations.

Without burpple the sharing dishes like the one shown would be pretty expensive ($25-$30 each) but their fried rice and ala carte noodles seemed very reasonably priced (around $10)

the soup is extremely prawn-y, but i like the little addition of the tempura? bits. the meat is g, and the prawn was grilled nicely.

they're currently having a beer promotion ($5 for one bottle instead of $10) so do check them out
