Visited the outlet on a Thursday evening. Had the Papardella Pasta and Burger. Both were decent for their price point.

Was disappointed that there was no selection of meats and cheeses to customise a platter from. This was even though it was stated on their menu that this was possible.

We visited Porta on a Sunday afternoon and it was pretty empty. We chose the 3-course set menu and I must say it’s really a steal.

For appetisers we had the Spicy Salmon Tartare and the Spanish Octopus. The tartare wasn’t spicy but was fragrant while the Octopus was well-seasoned and tender. It’s rare to find an octopus dish so well cooked and not chewy or tough.

We both opted for the Filet Mignon and it cut like butter. That’s was how tender it was.

For dessert we had the Black Forest Cake and the Pecan Pie. The cake was a lava cake so that was a surprise but a good one nonetheless. The pie was not too sweet and it paired well with the scoop of ice cream on the side.

Our server Kavitha was amazing and kind. Would definitely come back again.
