although the taste of the waffles were ok, we are never coming back. decided to try this establishment as they were new to burpple beyond and we saw the photo that burpple posted on the reviews - but boy, looks are deceiving. after we ordered the waffles and they got served, we realised that they looked nothing like the reviews! where's the nutella drizzle??????

i asked the staff who served it to us and she shrugged and said, yup this is it.

in the end i went back to the counter and asked the ?manager why was the picture featured by the burpple team so different from the actual food served, and she apologised saying that they have already changed the menu but the management hasn't communicated it to burpple. she decided to give myself and my partner a cup of nutella in the end, on the side.

just wanted to bring up that the burpple review posted was merely 2 days before we ate there - which meant that they just happened to change the menu within the 2 days (????)

We got two scoops of ice cream (Salted Butterscotch, which was their popular flavour, as well as Strawberry) and both of them went really well with the waffles! The waffles were on the crispier side, which sat fine with me.

The one thing to praise was the taste of the salted butterscotch, which converted my friend as she's someone who didn't used to like such flavours. Do give it a try!

It was my second time visiting this outlet! Previously my friends and I ordered the ferraro rocher ice cream with the chocolate cookie, and it felt a little bit too chocolatey for us to enjoy. This time, we ordered it with milk cereal - however *do not* make the same mistake as us!

The intense chocolate taste completely overpowered the taste of the ice cream, and all we could taste was something cold + the cookie and the chocolate oozing out. Pick another ice cream flavour and you will be good to go!

This dish did not disappoint! There was an ample amount of egg whites, topped with mushrooms and potato with a side of bread. The eggs were cooked marvellously and the mushrooms tasted amazing! Would highly recommend getting this dish 😇

The dish was extremely disappointing. The prawns were the only redeeming feature of it - the aglio olio on the other hand was tasteless, and did not have even a hint of garlic. Our table couldn't finish the aglio olio; give this dish a miss!

Walked past this quite a few times and decided to give it a go today - it did not disappoint! Bought this set together with a drink (lemonade) at a promotional price of $6.90, and everything was fried on the spot. It was fresh, the fish was succulent, and the fries were really interesting! They were more like rectangular potato pieces fried in the same fish batter, which made it hard to differentiate whether it was a fish or a chip - but it still tasted good! Would definitely recommend this to anyone who would love himself a good BBF :)

P.S. ask for some vinegar!

As this was one of the highly raved dishes, I went ahead and got myself one! I'm not sure what I was expecting, but the gravy tasted exactly like laksa, with the pasta being a little bit thicker to mimic the noodles that were traditionally in laksa. The prawns (there were 5) were sufficiently juicy and succulent, and honestly they were the best part of the meal. I got this under the 1-for-1 Burpple Beyond which halved the price of this dish from $17. I believe it would be worth it if you were on Burpple Beyond, but perhaps give it a second thought if you were to order it without the offer.
