Best prawn noodle I’ve tried quite a number of prawn noodle spots across Singapore, and this place honestly stands out as one of the best I’ve had so far.
The soup was exceptional — rich, aromatic, and packed with deep umami flavour while still carrying a natural sweetness from the prawns. You can really tell the broth was simmered with care because every sip felt flavourful, comforting, and incredibly addictive. It’s honestly so hard to find a prawn noodle soup nowadays that delivers this kind of balance and depth.
The prawns themselves were super fresh, juicy, and naturally sweet. Every bite had that satisfying snap, and the sweetness from the prawns blended perfectly into the broth, making the whole bowl even more enjoyable.
The pork ribs were another highlight for me. They were incredibly tender and soft, almost falling apart effortlessly, and best of all, there was completely no porky taste. The meat absorbed the flavour of the broth beautifully and added such a comforting richness to the dish.
The noodles were cooked perfectly too — springy, smooth, and coated beautifully with the sauce and soup. Every mouthful was packed with flavour without feeling too heavy.
We also ordered the ngoh hiang platter, and honestly every single item was good. The cheese one especially was amazing — crispy on the outside with a rich, savoury cheesy filling that was so addictive. Each different piece we ordered had its own unique texture and flavour, and none of them disappointed.
Beyond the food, the overall experience made the place even better. The atmosphere felt lively and welcoming, making it a really enjoyable spot to sit down and have a comforting meal. Even though there was a queue, it was managed very efficiently and moved surprisingly fast. The service was excellent as well — the staff were friendly, attentive, and made the whole dining experience feel warm and pleasant. Despite the crowd, the food was served very quickly, which honestly impressed me.
Overall, this is definitely a place I would highly recommend to anyone craving a really solid bowl of prawn noodles in Singapore. From the quality of the food to the service and atmosphere, everything was extremely well done, and it’s somewhere I’d gladly come back to again.
