Amazing quality durian! Staffs were very helpful in picking up the type of durian - sweet or bitter. Loved how the seeds were very small and was wrapped around with generous durian flesh. Opted for the MSW durian and they were very fresh, definitely will be back to try other variety of durians.

After the great experience at the Serene Center outlet, we decided to try the newly opened Fat Belly outlet at Boon Tat. The menu here is much more extensive, for starters I really enjoyed the Grilled Ox Tongue as the topped shaved fennel added that extra texture. Another favourite was the grilled seasonal mushroom with goodness dressing! Have no idea was that dressing was but it was darn good that we wiped the plate clean. For steak, I would recommend the wagyu rib cap as for its price point it was comparable or I dare say even better to other more reputable steak houses I’ve tried. For dessert, we decided to try the burnt blue cheese cake, suprisingly it was really good as the berries sorbet balanced out the taste of the blue cheese. Fat belly is truly underrated!

The food was really nice. The portion for the breakfast is super huge and definitely worth for it’s price. My favorite dish was the Brûlée French Toast, it has a thin layer melted sugar that gives it a crunchy taste, super good if you love to have a sweet dessert for breakfast/lunch.

Ordered the steak to the doneness of medium-rare and it was tender and juicy. Would recommend to order fries as sides as it was perfectly cooked! Would also recommend to order the Mac n Cheese if you are a cheese lover. The place gets crowded during dinner time, so I would advise to make a reservation to avoid long waiting times.

The Kaisendon has a variety of fresh sashimi, comes in a combo set which comes with chicken karaage and a cup of green tea makes the meal extremely filling and affordable. Would recommend to go for the spicy option as the flavors went very well together. Overall it was a great portion and was worth every penny spent!

Great variety of food, with a mixture of Asian and western fusion. Their Bak Ku Teh Risotto has a unique herb taste, accompanying the creamy risotto makes the whole dish a pleasant one. We also medium rare steak was cooked with the right doneness and goes perfectly with their red wine which was only priced at $6 each a glass. For those who can’t drink alcohol, their non-alcohol wines are made from fresh wine grapes with natural sweetness which I personally enjoyed a lot!

As an avid steak lover, this place really does their steak well. Personally preferred the Onglet steak over the flat iron due to its texture and taste. For dessert, the sticky date pudding with the ice cream by the side was definitely a winner to me! Would definitely come back to try the Wagyu options and the tiramisu dessert :)
