The best combination of smoked salmon and hash in Singapore that Foody has ever tasted! š
Hands down the best American breakfast platter by far. Delicious honey candied bacon topped with SauteĢed mushrooms š„š
Waited 45 min for the food to arrive even though we were one of the early customers who beat the dinner crowd.
Waiting time aside, do order the lamb rack because itās sooo good! The meat is tender, juicy and fatty š
Came on weekday night without much crowd
Chahan Unagi (6/10 - Tastes simply like Unagi + Fried Rice, hard to go wrong also)
Yakitori Don (3/10 - Dry and bland, do not order)
The follow up photo for the first review I wrote!
This is the pan seared salmon.
5/10
Gave it a try since itās on ātrendingā on burpple.
Eggs Benedict - Bread was not toasted, so it was hard to cut and chew, egg was overly cooked, salad did not come with dressing
Pan Seared Salmon - The better dish out of the two. Still, there are better seared salmons out there.
Service was quick though, as we came on a weekday evening. Luckily thereās 1 for 1 so itās not as painful on the pocket. Not worth full price.
This is the date of visit.
Listen to the reviews - the food is aesthetically pleasing but tastes average.
Mains ordered: The Breakfast Works & Truffle Eggs Prociutto (both taste 6/10)
Only go if you are nearby and ready to sit outdoors.
IMO there are better brunch spots on burpple to try.
Itās one of the tastiest chirashi bowls we have ever had! The pricing is on the steep side, so we wonāt be back without any 1-1 vouchers. We went on a weekday dinner time and were the only customers, but the staff informed us that their place is usually packed.
Good ambiance, friendly staff as well.
We decided to give Sarnies a second chance with their Brunch menu, seeing as their Dinner offerings are horrible.
The Eggs Benjamin is seriously good! Definitely will recommend! However, their Fry Up is plain bad. Checked with other friends who had tried Fry Up before as well who gave the same sentiments.
Will come back only for the Eggs Benjamin. Wouldnāt want to try other items given their hit-and-miss dishes.
We went on a Wednesday night and the place was buzzing. Waited for longer than usual (> 45 min) before a female staff offered us a complimentary milkshake, and kindly explained that the long wait was because one of their waffle machine was down.
This kind gesture and service improved our overall experience. Also wanted to shout out that the milkshake is thick, creamy, consistent - it actually tastes much better than the waffles haha.
Most of the dishes are good. Weāve been here for 3 times so far. This month, theyāre running a HSBC 1-1 deal so thereās no need to use Burpple app.
We wanted to try the brunch menu, but too bad they only served dinner menu when we went. Hence, we tried:
Salmon Miso Carbonara (pictured)
Grass-fed Ribeye (a photo of just the meat, no sides)
Both dishes taste equally horrible, and we wonāt be back for the dinner menu. The crowd and hype was only from the restaurant being centrally located, with a good ambience for chilling.
