I have been wanting to try this restaurant in ages. Glad we made it for dinner. The soufflés are absolutely delish especially the desert orange soufflé with Grand Marnier. My daughter had boeuf bourguignon served with a mini comte soufflé. Son had duck confit with truffle mushroom mini soufflé. Hubby had a tasting flight of 3 souffles. A quaint old world cafe with the most fabulous cakes. Even though we were early for lunch there was already a line at the cafe so be prepared to wait. It is not a big cafe and it is rather cramped but o so reminiscent of cafes in Europe. I wanted the signature pinwheel sandwich but it was sold out. In the end I had the crab salad and my son had the duck. Both very good. The chocolate gateaux for dessert was absolutely yummy. The service is excellent and staff very friendly. Had a lovely lunch with family by the Yarra River. Nice restaurant. I had the hot dog and it was yummy. The family agrees that their food was also very good. Don’t forget the BBQ sauce if you eat here. It’s a killer! I would come back. #maneklady #manekeats #manektravel

Last breakfast in Hobart. This is a gem of a place. A bit off the beaten track but well worth it. We had salmon wrapped scrambled eggs over Danish pastry, salmon wrapped poached egg over rosti and gruyere, bacon, chorizo danish. All good. #maneklady #manekeats #manektravels

The croissants were pretty good. The jam/cream filled and the lemon curd had just the right amount of tartness vs sweetness. The ham and Gruyere was pretty good too. A bit on the expensive side for croissants though. #maneklady #manekwats #manektravels

We tried this place for the first time today and was pleasantly surprised. The food is Indonesian Chinese. Well prepared and tasty. I had the Nasi Babi Campur which had about 6 different types of various parts of the pig all done in different styles. For someone who can’t decide what to eat this is a great dish. Hubby had roast duck rice. Skin was crispy and tasty. Definitely can come again. #maneklady #manekeats

Delish breakfast in a lovely view with the skyline of Singapore lagoon. I had the mushroom souffle which was good. The PS brunch stack (pork sausage patty, potato hash, fried egg) was absolutely yummy. Eggs Ben great too. #maneklady #manekeats

My daughter insisted I try this place. I had ricotta pancakes with caramelized bananas and espresso butter. I added the sausage. It was good. The cruffins- cross between croissants and muffin - unusual with somewhat flaky bread like texture. Quite good but personally I prefer the cronut texture.

Had a lovely dinner with hubby. We had a steak with foie gras and Iberico pork rack for mains. A yellowtail tartare for starters. And the piÚce de résistance a dessert platter with 2 kinds of lemon tarts, chocolate ganache, sea salt ice cream and macarons. Good quality meats prepared very well. Will definitely come back.

Excellent food as usual. My favorite are the century eggs. I can eat it all day long. The ribs too were excellent. As was the fish.

One of my favorite quick dessert. Fluffy and creamy in a light choux bun. Plenty of fun flavors.
