Classic Milk Tea W Pearls (0% Sugar) Price$2.60 for 2. $2 milk tea + $0.60 pearls. Drinkable, neighbourhood average-quality kind milk tea. Cheap. Worth its price value! Would recommend if you have a milk tea craving and you just need an easy fix.

Peppermint Milk Tea My first time drinking peppermint milk tea & this tasted better than expected! Wouldn't mind getting this again. Used Burpple Beyond 1-for-1 here and paid $1.50 for this. :p

Chicken Cutlet with Swiss Raclette Cheese Last hurrah with them before closure. Unfortunately this signature did not live up to its reputation. I thought three slabs of meat and special cheese justified the higher price, but they're small and simple, and the latter only offered visuals, nothing for the taste. Worse, the baby potatoes were lousy and the house braised sauce was negligible.

Crab Roll Last hurrah with them before closure. This signature was really good. The sensational crabmeat paired with fragrant croissant. The truffle shoestring fries were also superb.

Salted egg yolk chicken burger Salted egg yolk chicken burger came with two (!!) pieces of juicy chicken cutlet and a generous serving of creamy salted egg yolk sauce. Also had the slightly sweet taste of the Tze char oats that paired well with it. Delightful!

Avenue 5 Barramundi Thanks to the newly opened Thomson East Coast Line, I get to explore this neighbourhood that just a few mins sheltered walk from Lentor MRT Station. This place is pretty quiet with a little places to eat. Beside the popular Korean foods moved from Marsiling, there’s also a new ice cream cafe here. Grillhood is one of the hidden restaurant here serving some home cook and western foods. I personal love barramundi because of its juicy meat and lesser bone. I totally enjoy this especially pairing it with their homemade sambal sauce. It wasn’t too spicy but definitely added richer taste to the fish. You get to choose 2 side dishes, which I gotten the mixed green and mashed potato.

Chicken Pasta, Chicken & Mushroom Quesadilla Value for money, only if it's Burpple 1-for-1. Total cost was approx $11. Reminiscent of a school's café food (not too good but not too bad).

unique bbt in town 🥳 stumbled past this bbt shop while walking to our staycay spot. after reading some reviews, we got the korean milk tea and lapsang souchong milk tea which we were both pleasantly surprised by. the roasted taste of the korean milk tea is really strong, which was to our liking. lapsang souchong milk tea tasted quite normal in comparison, but it was a good cup of milk tea nonetheless. ps; the small and cosy shop was served by this lovely lady and they even offer free tea leaves for anyone who stops by their shop. too bad we didn’t have any containers to fill them in. will definitely be back for more ✨✨

Thirst Quencher We used burpple for the pure teas. Got peach lychee oolong and lapsang souchong. Amazed they had lapsang souchong haha. Really nice to walk by this stall on a hot day 🌞

Korean Milk Tea This tasted quite different from other milk tea. It has a distinct roasted and wheat taste to their milk tea which I like. Something different and this drink reminds me of a familiar taste which I still cannot figure out what was it 》$3.80

Great Coffee!! Got a little lost trying to find this place, do note to use lift lobby A in the mall to get to level 7! This is a quaint coffee/tea place to get a good cuppa and chill, situated next to Trehaus school. Really affordable drinks here tbh. Will be back☺️

Matcha latte oved the ambience and the space, fantastic place to chill quietly. Drinks were affordable as well. Decent drink, pretty milky.

Lo-Cal Chicken Rice ($8.00) Loving the play of words - this chicken rice bowl is 446 calories according to Kipos’ website. Brown “chicken” rice, sou vide chicken, carrots, cucumber with home made chicken rice chilli. I was really full after the meal and pleasantly surprised at the chicken rice taste it had - definitely sufficient to fulfil any chicken rice cravings without sacrificing your calories. At 2 bowls at $8 with Burpple Beyond - mega worth!!

Big DIY Bowl Ordered big bowl with grilled dory. Delicious wholesome food. Choice of 2 bases so very filling, my go-to in the Joo Chiat neighbourhood for healthy fuel 🥗

Lo-Cal Chicken Rice ($8) Chicken rice but with less guilt - I like how this place takes local foods and puts a healthy twist to it - such as putting sou vide chicken on brown rice. Veggies were fresh. Tastewise, obviously not as delicious as our familiar local dish but it’s a pretty good healthier alternative. They also write the amount of calories of each dish on their menu, which is a nice touch. Quite worth it with the Beyond 1-for-1 deal. They do takeaways as well.

Winter Melon Fresh Milk This was easily identifiable due to the distinct taste of winter melon. The fragrance was delicate and sweet. A drink that is light, refreshing and not too heavy for the stomach.

A quiet, peaceful cafe with nice view Located at top level of Jem. You can catch a glimpse of sunset if you go during the evening. Great place to hangout with friends especially for a catch-up. Tried the lavender and brown butter waffles, which are pretty decent.

Rooftop eatery with a nice view! We had the Thai Basil Pesto Pasta ($16) and the Truffle Cheese Pasta ($18). Portion was just nice. The Thai Basil Pesto Pasta's chicken was spicy and tasty. The Truffle Cheese Pasta was alright, would've appreciated it with bacon or an additional ingredient. For drinks we had a Matcha Latte ($6) and a Blue Pea Honey Latte ($7). The Matcha Latte was okay but the Blue Pea Honey Latte didn't have much of a taste. That aside, the best thing we would say we had was the Fried Cookie Dough with Gelato ($7.80) (we got the Apple Pie flavoured). It was delicious and extremely worth the price. We'll definitely be back for it! Since this place was tucked away at JEM's rooftop, there wasn't a crowd and the ambience was peaceful.
