Was not expecting such a pleasant ambiance and meal at such a fantastic price (~45/pax post tax) - but the spot really delivered. The four course burpple had some of their best dishes - the starters beef tartare and foie gras was delightful and had just a good amount of acidity to pique the palate for the incoming mains. The mains were also really well balanced and unique. The final dessert of warm valhorna chocolate tart was slightly too sweet, but the chocolate oozing from the tart was 😍.

Considering it was a sat evening 7pm, we could still book two days before, and was given a really great seat. Would highly recommend, for a special day or just a nice night out with friends!

The drinks were pretty well done and very unique, and we really enjoyed them. However the service was a real disappointment - the staff was rude and dismissive, which really ruined a night with friends. She also told us that we could only claim 2 Burpple offers for 6pax, when the terms stated 3 offers were allowed. Unfortunately, it could have been a much nicer night, would not be returning again.

Portions were decent and fish was quite fresh, but the rice was quite hard. Service staff also forgot to put in our orders until we checked in with them again. 😰

The pork belly was amazing! Well rendered, melts in your mouth and pairs really well with the pumpkin mash. If your in the cbd area, definitely drop by to try it.

Burgers were decent and pretty worth with the 1-1 ($8.20 per pax)! But wouldn’t pay the full price for the burgers as the portion of the burger was smaller than average. The service wasn’t great either - waitress wasn’t patient or friendly.

Noticed quite a number of reserved tables so probably would be better to go early/make a reservation!

Really enjoyed the Portuguese egg tarts ($1.80) - the crust is crisp and flaky and the filling is smooth. HK milk tea tasted quite authentic as well!

Other items I got were the noodles (average), baked rice with chicken (a little dry and could have used more curry sauce but sauce was nice), polo bun (with butter).

Overall, it’s a great spot for an afternoon tea at bedok :)

Both dishes were amazing and i loved the pairing of onsen eggs with avocado - surprisingly refreshing and was a just nice size for brunch. A really lovely place for brunch, not too crowded even on a sunday, pretty quiet, plenty of light and theres even card games

The communal place was a very nice place w card games for big groups. I really liked the flaming pork ribs, but the salmon miso was slightly underwhelming. They seemed to be short staffed so customers may need to be more patient during peak hours. But otherwise it was a lovely experience.
