Ordered Ayam Bakar Betutu, Gado Gado, Soto Betawi & Nasi Putih.

Damage : $68.50

Recommendation : Soto Betawi

We had the Grilled Chicken Chop and Prawn Aglio Olio, Cranberry and Orange Juice, Creme Brulee and 3 scoops of ice cream (chocolate, matcha, vanilla). Chic Chop was meh, pasta wasn’t too bad. Won’t recommend ordering the desserts.

$7 for two drinks is a great deal! This is my second visit trying a different drink. Pretty average. Too milky to my liking. Go if you have the beyond pass otherwise not worth the wait.

Made a booking via Chope but was not recorded in their booking list. Quite a number of empty tables but was informed they were fully booked and led us to the teppenyaki area at the second part of the restaurant. It was air-conditioned but ventilation was rather bad. Waitress then led us to a outside sitting area and we got settled down. When we were ready to order, she told us a table was available and moved us in.
$30.4 for two Chirashi Bowls. 3 slices of each sashimi here is equivalent to 1 slice at other restaurants. Hub ordered a beer and I wasn’t offered any drink till we were almost done, the same waitress came and asked whether I would like some water. I declined and she replied “It’s free”. I said no. She cannot accept no or MUST I ACCEPT A DRINK JUST CAUSE IT’S FREE? Throughout our time there, the restaurant was not even half filled. The food is ok but the service..👎🏻 PRC speaking waitress and black faced server.

Rather disappointing with the works ($27), eggs were bland, cheap Asian tomato, weird pairing of a slice of seasoned salmon, tasteless wedges, salty bacon and sausage. Truffle Eggs Prosciutto ($22) - didn’t like the combi of the sweet brioche with savoury food. Not worth my stomach space for these.

The broth was thick and a tad too salty and also a burnt taste. Wasn’t sure was it from the cabbage with blackish edges. Ordered the (6pcs) Ebiko Prawn Paste Shrimp $15.50 and (4pcs) Prawn Dumplings Shrimp Ramen $14.50. Ebiko prawn paste was crunchy but we preferred the prawn dumplings which were more flavourful. The add-on side warm beancurd tasted meh.

Upsize both the Spicy Salmon and Truffle Wagyu bowls. Indeed spicy for the salmon brown as chilli padi was added. It was good but not filling at all.

One for one butter waffles with single scoop of ice cream. Top up for a premium scoop of Nama Chocolate ice cream. So goooood! The strawberry cheesecake was ok. Preferred B & J’s version.

Placed order one day in advance. A little pricey but the fish is good. Super love the potato wrapped prawn.

1 for 1 burpple deal of Haemool Pajun and Kimchi Jun at $25 to be paid in cash in a separate bill and they charged service charge and gst on both bills. - Too much leek and too little seafood for Haemool Pajun; Kimchi is a little too salty
• combo Fried Chicken set (original, sweet & spicy, soy garlic) at $25 - just go for the soy garlic the next time.
• large Soondubu Jjigae at $32 with add on rice cake at $3 - taste is ok but overpriced for just tofu, shrooms, egg and some mussels.

Meh👎🏻
One of the worst don I have had. Fish is not fresh, scallop is thinly sliced, did not taste like Japanese rice at all. Black faced, unfriendly staff. IMO, not worth $24 for 2 bowls. 😕
