Second time here and the quality of the food never disappoints! My first visit was approximately 3 months ago. The only comment I have is - their menu did not change so the experience was exactly the same as my first visit. ):

Thanks to entertainer, the boyfriend and I decided to try this restaurant having walked passed it countless times. The servers were pleasant and polite, they recommended non-spicy curries at our request and checked on us during the meal from time to time.
The curries were flavorful and not overwhelming, they hit the spot! The garlic naan was also perrrrfect. And surprisingly we were really full despite ordering just 1 naan and two mains. We definitely recommend paying them a visit!

Value set lunch at Rakuya - All sets come with rice, fruit and chawanmushi. Great quality and affordable sashimi set. We’re planning to return for their omakase!!

Hmm It’s was decent but honestly nothing mind-blowing. I guess it’s a homely cafe.

Really tender and moist pork katsu for a decent price! Comes with unlimited rice and salad refills, definitely a great choice.

Slightly disappointed by the lobster roll but but the fries was a saving grace! Loved the fries!!

Pulled pork w wanton skin pizza & cross-cut waffle fries // Pizza crust felt pre-made which was purchased from the nearby cold storage, nevertheless a good bar food w great environment. The bistro was brightly lit and welcoming and they even had a screen showing a live football match!

The queue snakes out of their little shop all the way to the pavement. Queue moves very fast as it is a takeaway shop, love their variety and unique flavours. Personally I love the white chrysanthemum the best!!

Chickie from the South! Well marinated and fried to perfection. Love the accompanying gravy toooo.😻😻

I've read many comments and perhaps is true, So Ramen is a rebranding of Ramen Play. They have the same signature ramen bowl and the items on the menu largely similar w same price points. Nevertheless, still an affordable place to satisfy my ramen cravings!

Finally tried the secret noodles from Loof. It was an indomee x carbonara fusion piled w parma ham, truffle oil, cheese and a runny eggyolk. I really enjoyed it, definitely a must try when youre at the Loof!
Ps. You wouldnt find it on the menu, just ask the waiter.

Ok, Im surprised im unable to find this location tag on burpple. This is a blasphemy! LOVE this old school confectionery that works on an "honor" system, take what you want from the shelves, order your drink and kayaXbutter toasts then tell them what you consumed and they'll bill you accordingly. Please dont ever close down!!
