If you’re looking for sweet and seafood-y tasting soup, zhup zhup is hands down the place to go. their price point is pretty affordable, and for its quality, it’s definitely worth it. i ordered their dry hokkien mee, DIY prawn noodles and ngoh hiang platter and they were all so good. their noodles has a relatively strong seafood taste which i really enjoyed, and the noodles are al dente 🤤 and their ngoh hiang is fried really well, and they provide a range of ngoh hiang as part of the platter which is really unique and so so delicious! it’s not too oily too which i really like! 👍 overall, a really really good place to visit :)
If you’re looking for delicious and authentic Hongkong food that wouldn’t burn a hole in your wallet, Hong Kong Cha Kee is definitely the place to go!
I ordered their Claypot prawn vermicelli, easily one of the better ones I’ve tried. It has a hint of black pepper, and living up to its name, it came with a good amount of prawns which are really big and fresh 🤤 honestly, i would definitely frequent this place again if I’m missing the Hongkong vibes 🇭🇰
ps. the picture definitely did not do the food justice 🥲
