Tempura is mostly made upon request at the station and the sauce, which is soup-like, paired with grated daikon is a perfect match with the tempura. So light, crispy and satisfying.

Salmon, tuna, swordfish, scallops and squid with egg (cooked, I think). Usually don’t go for swordfish and scallops but this was my second time and I felt like I trusted them to be fresh enough for a first timer so I took a leap of faith and I was not disappointed 😊

Add on miso soup for a dollar and every bowl comes with a piece of salmon belly! Had it twice and both times the soup was flavourful from the ingredients it was simmered in. The second time I had it, the yuzu/lemon slices were a little overpowering but still, soup remained good.

King Kong bowl - $14.90
Toppings as seen but rice is infused with truffle oil, fish roe and bits of mushroom. Fresh thick cuts of otoro🤤 everything else was fresh and good as well. Great bang for your buck
