Felt slightly healthier with the veggies over fried and oily char kway teow. 😂 Portion’s on the small side though! This one’s $4 and it left me with more than enough space for ah balling tang yuan after.

Was actually really disappointed with the amount of mentaiko dribbled onto the items though. I mean, it seemed so generous on influencers’ photos but what happened to their consistency?!

It was worth it though! Such a sensory experience seeing the chefs cook right in front of your noses, on countertop seats (only about 10 plus pax seating hence the long wait). The small mountain of beef just melts in your mouth, topped with tofu, mushrooms, and even a small cup of extra beef sauce on the side (the remnants from the pot). ⁣

I’d recommend just getting the more expensive option - served in gold bowls; if you’re a first timer. Then to avoid breaking the bank, order the cheaper option - served in silver bowls (this disparity 🤣) when you return in future because trust me, you will. ⁣

Just look at how pretty this is! Plus points for pistachio ice cream too. Second time ordering this and will definitely order again. The best french toast in my opinion soaks up all that goodness in the bread and this does that darn well + a layer of creme brûlée on top too.

🧀 Mentaiko mac & cheese $20.50
Absolutely love mentaiko-anything, and was glad that this cheese x mentaiko combo was just nice! Adequate pieces of small diced prawns but can’t really pick out any crab meat though. Recommended for sharing as it does get ‘jelat’ after awhile.

Look no further if you’re picking out a nice brunch place for the weekend. 😋👌🏻

🌧 This soy sauce flavour had that homecooked taste, and tables all around us had theirs with heaps of chilli instead. 🔥 Will definitely be back for their spicier flavours!!

Legit tears of joy rolled down my face and I had to be held back from hopping around excitedly too much - kidding. Taste wise as compared to hong lim’s, really similar! Brothers indeed, but bukit gombak’s ver was a bit drier, and could do with more mushroom sauce and chilli. $4/$5/$6 versions available!

👌🏻 Missing this mix of sweet + savoury, crunchy + soft brunch goodness.

🙊 We ordered 2x 짜장면 and 1x 탕수육 (tangsuyuk = sweet and sour crispy pork) ala carte, but the kind 사장님 (boss) told us we could get the slightly cheaper set pricing at $42++ for the same - although menu states 1x 짜장면 , 1x 짬뽕 (jjampong = spicy seafood noodles) and 1x 탕수육. ☺️ Hurry down as they’ve got an opening promo now, and all customers get a free steamed egg, small salad per table, and iced peach tea each!

Comes with usual refillable Korean side dishes, cold roasted barley drink, and free flow steamed eggs. 👌🏻
Swipe for my favourite way to eat/make a 쌈 (wrap): lettuce + grilled meat + kimchi + grilled garlic 😋
