Formerly OZ Specialty Coffee, Pacamara has now opened at Upper Thompson, bringing their well-loved Pacamara blends alongside a sizeable menu of mains and cafe food. Expect great coffee, including more unique offerings like the Iced Thai Coffee. The menu includes burgers and mac & cheese, as well as brunch items like red velvet pancakes and truffle benedict. The miso-glazed salmon ($22) is highly recommended, as is the salted caramel brioche French toast ($16). This clean, bright cafe is a lovely space for spending some quiet time alone, or for a relaxing meal anytime.
Durian Creme Brulee. Salted Egg Fries. These are all the reasons you need to pay The Quarters a much-needed visit. Located in Icon Village at Enggor Street, they take inspiration from local Asian flavours to create exciting and unique mod-sin (Modern Singapore) dishes. A sucker for salted-egg-yoke anything will HAVE to order the crispy fries with salted egg yolk dip, and of course, don't leave without first trying their signature durian creme brulee - with smooth, creamy Mao Shan Wang durian custard that's so, so satisfying.
I will travel to Envy Coffee for good honest food and drinks with excellent service. Complimentary wifi is a bonus. Check out the hot pink Burpple decal. They have just been Burptified a good spot to chill even if you're not a Westsider it's worth the visit.
