Pancakes, Hash, Eggs Pretty bummed about their Stanley Street outlet closure but glad that I got my American breakfast fix early this week! All my favourites on a plate, Joji’s Diner Pancakes, Hash, Eggs ($7.90) came with two fluffy pancakes, two sunny eggs (which I changed to scramble for an extra $1.50) on a tender bed of potato hash. Crisp along the edges, the hash was decent - not too greasy and nicely seasoned. The eggs were creamy and well-executed. However, the best part was the fragrant stack. Soft and sufficiently thick, the lightly sweetened pancakes had a good whiff of vanilla and didn’t feel cloying at all even with the melted slab of butter.
