Found this place open until 3am at 61 boat quay on the second floor. Had this yummy, spicy Rendang Ballotine, which came with a creamy, mouthwatering pineapple mashed potato. Really yum! Will be back here again late at night when I get the munchies, they have good, hot, made to order dishes.

Good hotpot too and love that it's open until 3am. I find Shang Pin better now but was wow-ed by their professionalism and quality of food. Delicious mala soup.

This is by far and hands down the best hotpot I've had. I'd highly recommend the meatballs with mushroom and ok well everything else. All ingredients were fresh and well made, with choice of 3 soups. All mouthwateringly delicious. I couldn't stop.

Some places are good at doing Singaporean-European fusion cuisine, and some places are great. I believe I've found one of the great ones. Plus point: this cocktail bar on the second floor of a boat quay shop house has a gorgeous view of the river and MBS! I ordered the Yu Sheng Ceviche for $16 at Kacang Putih in boat quay, wondering if it would turn out worth the price. This dish was a party in my mouth. Fish and prawns were cured in this amazing sauce, and the serving size was huge compared to so many places which name a dish ceviche and give you teeny bits and pieces. There was finely sliced red chilli, ginger and the prawns especially were incredibly fresh and yummy. Will be back to try some of their interesting food items, like devil's curry dumplings. Two thumbs up!!

I actually find this place really romantic for a fun date night! A bunch of batters are provided and you get to make any shape or write any words you like. It helps break the tedium from usual date nights and injects a bit of fun. And oh the pancakes are delicious!

I think this place is great for an after dinner walk and dessert. Besides the great ice cream, they had a melt in your mouth chocolate lava cake that went well with their homemade vanilla ice cream. The ice cream took the cake though. Pun intended.

This place brings me back somewhat to Paris, and rightly so with its two storey indoor seating, chandeliers and beautifully mirrored interior. There was dinner here too but we went for the exquisite pastry. So amazing! Can't wait to have it again!

Yummy all day breakfast place which is lovely and quiet with full length windows and cosy corners for a quiet date night. Food was good too although a little pricy, 18++ for this breakfast dish which came with a little less egg than I wanted but still all right I guess.

Again in Vivo overlooking the channel to Sentosa, this is a lovely, classy place for a date night. The food is delectable and the service is top notch. Can't get enough dim sum anyway.

This is a 1920s speakeasy come alive, jazz and dim, romantic lighting to boot. I'd come here after dinner to keep the mood going with some delicious bespoke cocktails that the bartenders whip up for you based on your own unique preferences. Love the orange lamps and dark mahogany furniture.

While I didn't think much of their mains, the snacks are lovely, and this crunchy mushroom fritter is a must try. Surrounded by shelves of books, this is an ideal date night if you and your partner are both into books. Even if you're on a first date I think this place makes for an interesting talking point so that you're not lost for words.
