Located beside IKEA Alexandra and where the old Safra used to be, the place looked promising.

Took the Shoyu Ramen, and all I can say is.. the place was decent with buts.

Decor has a +1 from me. The chefs at the back were conversing in Japanese and it really made me feel like I was back in Japan.

Ramen had generous servings of vegetables and though I'm not a big fan of them, they were fresh and crunchy. The other topping was charsiew and it was so-so, not really seared enough and you can't taste the charring.

Soup was decent. Not overly salty and thick enough to keep me going. Didn't wow me however, but it went well with the noodles as they promised.

Noodles were springy and good, unfortunately not enough. It barely filled 1/4 of my bowl.

The Ajitama that I bought as an add-on saved the day. One of the better ones I've had since returning from Japan. Might even bring friends here next time.

Simple and delectable. Went for the crunchy Caesar salad at $7.50. You can DIY your own salad at $6.50 and the portions are reasonably large.

Furnishing is functional, and it gets crowded really fast during the weekday lunch slot.

I'll be back! #salad #yummy #burpple #bugis #healthy
