Awesome fluffy pancakes ($14). Its made to order but the waiting time is not long. A bit out of the way but I’ll travel to Habitat just for this.

Rookery just changed their menu. Tried the club sandwich ($21) with a latte ($5). Portion is very generous and tastes fresh and good! Extra shiok because we used the Burpple Beyond deal as well.

have been wanting to try @sidewayssg since awhile ago coz i drink @thehangarsg coffee almost everyday

so we went on a random Thurs, wanting to make our week better. Food is super amazing.

Tried the 3 course meal ($49) using Burpple Beyond. Bone marrow is thick, soft and flavourful. Comes with their woodbaked bread. Steak is cooked perfectly medium rare!

For mains we ordered lamb and pork belly. Both good and soft but we like the lamb more! Tiramisu was equally amazing.

Truly a gem near home! 👍🏻

Had a donut and straight tea set ($6.10). First time trying a baked instead of fried donut. It tastes like a cake and is very soft and moist. Matcha flavour ($2.20) is rich! Had Tie Guan Yin ($3.90) too and the black vinegar jelly is a surprise. It tastes a bit like herbal jelly in bubble tea. Very refreshing for a hot day ☀️

Finally tried this after many recommendations from friends. Had rich soup ramen ($14.90) because I wasnt feeling very hungry, if not I would definitely go all in with the one that has all ingredients. The lobster broth was really rich and it goes well with the ramen and pork chashu.

I think this will be an especially good supper after drinks/clubbing at Clarke Quay!

Yuzu Rasperry ($9) got a rich rasperry taste with white chocolate. The vanilla sponge cake was soft and moist. Miss Ispahan ($9.80) had a well-balanced lychee and rasperry taste. Like the brown sugar base a lot too!

Will come back for other cakes. Made affordable with Burpple Beyond!

Had a barachirashi don (Small $13.90+). The sashimi was fresh but the rice was a bit to the dry side. The portion of the don can be slightly more, given this price. My friends had the mentaiko salmon bowl (good and creamy) and the truffle gyu don (sauce is a bit too salty).

The environment and ambience is nice and cafe-like as Candour Coffee is operating at the same premise too. However, staff attitude is rude. He showed his frustration and attitude during our order at the cashier. He also sighed when we mentioned we are using Burpple Beyond.

We were charged service charge for this kind of attitude and basically everything else (water, utensils, sauce, find seats) was self service except taking of the food.

Food was okay but I will not come back because of the staff (or maybe he’s the owner?).

Had a flat white ($5). Coffee is nice and aromatic. Came with a chocolate cookie as well, which was a nice surprise! It wasnt crowded so it’s a good place if you want to hang out and chat or do your work or read a book. There are power plugs at the seats too.

Had iced matcha ($7) using Burpple Beyond. The bottle is cute but there was only a slight tint of matcha taste. Not really worth it without Burpple Beyond deal.
#BurppleBeyond

It’s pure shiok-ness. The portion of the salmon is much more than other similar bowls. Tried the beef version before also but still find the mentaiko salmon better. The young owner also prepares the food by himself and pays a lot of attention to details. Only downside is that it’s a bit slow if there is a queue.

This is my new favourite at Amoy Hawker Centre. Its healthy and the portion is generous. It’s very reasonably priced too ($4). They always have a long queue but it moves fast. Uncles are really friendly too.

Really like their dry ramen ($12.80) because the portion is generous and it’s very flavourful. You can opt for free noodle upsize (1.5 times) and free rice at the end to mix with the ingredients when your noodles runs out.
The other two outlets are on Burpple Beyond but this is not. Guess it’s a franchise; but they have stamp card accumulation to get free ramen and toppings in return.
