The famous dessert, ice-cream & waffles. This cafe serves amazing ice-cream and waffles! The ice-cream flavours in the picture are nutella and earl grey. Yep, they do have nutella ice-cream and boy does the nutella taste so good! The nutella ice-cream is rich & creamy with texture and flavour. As for the earl grey, the taste was a little bland, compared to the nutella the earl grey is just 'meh'. I would suggest just getting 2 scoops of nutella instead because the nutella is so good. The waffles are crispy too! Price is between $5-6, cheap and affordable! Good quality too!
Ordered: Sea Salt Caramel Cheesecake & Red Velvet Cupcake. The sea salt caramel cheesecake just tastes like any ordinary sweet cheesecake. The sea salt comes in chunks somewhere in the cheesecake. But each slice is huge so I would say the price is worth. As for the red velvet cupcake, it was a little disappointing because there wasn't much cream cheese on top. Instead, it was covered with shredded coconut and oh boy was it horrible. I would never order red velvet cupcake from there ever again. I think twelve cupcakes is good enough. But that is because I don't particularly fancy shredded coconut. If you love shredded coconut then you should try. There was a lot of coconut on it. I feel like the price of the cupcake is not worth the taste. Overall rating for the cheesecake is 7/10 and for the cupcake is 3/10. I do not think i'll ever go back soon.
Ordered: Spanish Hash ($24.00), English ($25.00), European ($20.00) & Candied Bacon ($6.00). Spanish Hash & Candied Bacon is really recommended. Spanish Hash is a mix of beef and potato and its super addictive. Every time I dine in at Wild Honey's, I would order Spanish Hash without fail. Candied Bacon has a savoury and sweet flavour. Definitely not those common salty bacon we eat out there. A little pricey but the portion is huge and the taste is worth the value. Dine in for a birthday meal or a little treat to yourself! You will not regret it. I'm loving the food there so much! Will dine in again when the hole in my pocket is sewn. Try it soon if you haven't!
Earl Grey Ice-cream Sandwich. The cookies are lemon cookies, however, i didn't quite enjoy it because the cookies were too soft. They weren't really crispy like those usual cookies outside. The earl grey ice-cream was good though! Anything earl grey is awesome. $8 for just that one ice-cream sandwich. The picture in the menu shows 2 though. Totally not worth $8 for such an ice-cream sandwich.
The cheesecake was pretty good. Shirley Temple and Caribbean was great too! I enjoy Shirley Temple the most. Would definitely go back for the drink as well as the cheesecake. I forgot the price of the cheesecake but I think it costs around $6? It is affordable, delicious and has a great atmosphere!
Waffle is crispy and yummy. Ice-cream served in big portion as can be seen from the photo. $11.80 for 2 waffles if i'm not wrong. Did not particularly enjoy the drink though. I'd suggest just stick to the usual coffee/mocha/chocolate.
Hickory-Smoked Pulled Pork Sandwich was delicious. Still craving for it today. Mac Chicken and Cheese was nothing special. Air Mexican(drink) consists of 3 Margarita, Nacho chips & Salsa sauce. The price there is affordable and the portion is quite big. Can't remember the price exactly but all of the picture above costs an average total of $100.
Ordered: Traditional Fish&Chips, Seared Scallops, Mash Potato, Slow Roasted Dingley Dell Pork Belly, BSK Short Rib Beef Burger & Macaroni Cheese with Garlic Roasted Crumbs. Everything was overpriced but the food is extremely mouth-watering. Mash Potato costs $10, you could probably guess how much the rest of the dish costs. Had to book 5 weeks in advance just to dine-in there. I would say the food is not worth the value not because it isn't tasty enough, but I just personally feel its too expensive for me to dine in there occasionally. After all, its a celebrity-chef restaurant. But if you haven't try it yet, you should totally go one day. Its worth a try because the food is to-die-for.
