I want! Waan Waan! Opened by Foon's Thai Wanton Mee at Old Airport Hawker last week, we can't wait to sink our teeth into these cooling desserts in a hot hawker centre! Shiok ah!
Jumbo (SGD 5.50) - Comes with 3 scoops of ice cream (2 coconut, 1 mango) and 5 toppings (red ruby, chendol, sweet corn, peanuts, atap seed). The coconut ice cream was really rich and creamy (we liked) whereas the mango was abit subtle. Downside was that we didn't manage to scoop the coconut flesh because the plastic spoon given breaks too easily.

Supermilk sounds like some power food and we were curious if their food is really that super.
Hazelnut Ice Cream (SGD 3.90) - Maybe supermilk was added to the ice cream to make it super sweet? Overwhelming even for a sweet tooth like me. The mains were more appreciable though.

Surrender now or prepare to fight! Meow! 6-days-old Giovanni reminded me of my Childhood Pokemon days, nope, not a Pokemon themed cafe here. The Gelato chef won his first world championship title for his Pistachio Gelato. Ok I'm sold to try.
Single scoop Pistachio (SGD 5.90) - Pretty small cup that was smaller than the width of my iPhone haha. The pistachio taste was distinct but lacked the creamy and smoothness.

Everything salted egg seems to be the trend for 2015! We got our hands on this slice of Salted Egg Black Sesame Cake at Dapper Coffee. Pretty ulu and quiet at the 2nd floor of Amoy Street though.
Salted Egg Black Sesame Cake (SGD 9) - Not the moist and fluffy cake texture out there. This slice was more doughy like a bread instead. The salted egg taste was pretty distinct and I love the crunch on the salted egg crumbles.

3 weeks old Cha Thai serves a variety of Thai dishes with quality ingredients. Not really cheap but there's 20% discount from now till 15 Aug!
Pad Thai (SGD 22++) - Tiger prawns were used and we loved the texture of the rice noodles! Quite comforting for our tummies.

Tuk Tuk Matcha (SGD 10.80) - Golden brown toast that was crispy and splattered with butter. One of the best so far in Singapore. The only difference was that After You used salted butter whereas Tuk Tuk used a mixture of salted and unsalted butter. Eat it while it's warm!

Pandan Kaya Eclair (SGD 8) - So nostalgic. Just like what I spread on my bread for breakfast everyday. The shredded coconut gave it an added crunch.

We loved the smooth and richness of Alfero Gelato which is still the best in Singapore!
Affogato (SGD 8) - Espresso with 2 scoops gelato. I got my rose latte when j mixed the espresso with Ispahan! Rose, lychee and raspberry was so refreshing.

Limited edition Mannuvasanai menu (SGD 32++ for two) - Chettinad style all-day menu is now available from Mon to Fri only at Race Course outlet! Really affordable for the price. We loved the Milagu Varutha Kozhi (chicken) most with a peppery punch! Let's start digging in with our hands!

Sticky Toffee Toast (SGD 14.90) + Additional scoop of ice cream (SGD 4) - 3 inch thick toast with butter spread in between the slices. The 2nd time we went and more butter splattered. So much calories, so Shiok!

Interesting flavours that caught our attention would be Moscato Peach, Sesame and Baileys Milo.
Waffle with 2 scoops ice cream (SGD 9.80), Supreme flavours at additional SGD 1 each - We loved the sesame which was rich and gao, reminded us of the traditional sesame buns. The summer berry sorbet was citrusy tasted similar to jam. Rich and not icy. The only letdown was the waffle which was slightly dense with minimum crisp and a bitter aftertaste. We will need more honeycomb to neutralize the bitterness though.
