Relatively Cheap Mix Rice In Orchard Road Quite surprise and unexpected can still able to get the price of $4.80 Chinese mixed rice in orchard area. The one in food opera is overpriced though!

Great food in this hawker! [MATTAR, SINGAPORE] Don't remember the Circuit Road Hawker Centre being so crowded at night, but there were so many dishes I wanted to try 😍 among all of them we had 3 that caught our eye: The Fried Prawn Mee from Tian Seng was like a roller coaster ride; I was shocked & disappointed at the start when I saw that the bigger $5 portion was so small... But once I tried it I fell in love 😍 the umami prawn & garlic flavour was so intense, and the noodles were cooked just right! Although the wok hei might be slightly lacking, but such intense prawn flavour is really hard to find. This might be one of my top 5! I've had oyster omelette ($5) from Ghim Guan quite a few times, and the standard remains high. This rendition is wetter than others, but rich in flavours. I love how eggy this whole dish tastes and that the oysters were plump and juicy! Lastly, the Claypot Chicken Rice ($7) from Nanxing was just decent, felt like there was nothing much to say about the rice. The chicken was very tender and fresh though! Such a nice place for dinner, with quite a huge variety of stalls to choose from! I think this is a lesser known hawker which you should try visiting 😍

#01-28: 28 BBQ Sambal Stingray @$12/$15 28 BBQ serves up fresh Sambal Bbq Stingray. Meat is fresh and tender, slides off the bone easily and not over-cooked at all. Sambal was damn shiok and was not too overly- spicy. Have ate this a few times and dapao back also. Always consistently good.

👉Congee with Fish Slices, Prawns & Scallops👈 Priced at 22RM, I guess you’re getting a bang for your buck when compared to getting something similar in Singapore. I wished there were more of that fish slices, as well as the crispy youtiao 😄

XO stir fried carrot cake and liu sha bao average, not exactly very good! :-( liu sha bao’s skin was kinda hard, not sure if its because we left it there for quite some time before eating. not nice :-( but the congee was good!!!! very flavourful. didn’t feel that there’s too much msg in it :-)

Siobak 5nett (Yong kee HK roasted duck 01-44) Got this at night. At night it's really horrendous, not much crisp, and very greasy, plus it's cold. And for the portion, it's quite pricey

Bak Chor mee 5nett (Teo seng 01-57) The sambal was unique but not particularly good, overall it's somewhat dry and clammy. The pork lard was absolutely terrible, and it's an annoyance that there's so many little pieces to remove. Overall it's alright, the soup has meat wantons inside but that's not v good either

Ckn rice lower quarter +rice 10.5nett (Yong Kee Hainanese Chicken Rice 01-79) Textbook. Every component from the rice to the tender ckn, is very simple and well executed. Sauce was sweet and savoury, quite mild but works Soup was peanut and ckn feet, pretty good too Worth a try if textbook, clean ckn rice is your thing

Awesome Fishball I have need patronising this store since young. I love their noodles and fishball. The owner is so friendly too! worth the visit. Take note for those big eaters, the portion can be small for you ($3.50 portion).

Mee Pok Fishball Noodle $3.50 Just queued for this mee pok for 30 mins for this takeaway. The amount of noodle is so generous. Really enjoy the bouncy Fishball and the medium spice level 🌶 . We actually prefer this clean seasoning to the high street ones that keep piling on sauces.

Fish Bal Noodle Goes well with chilli and the fishball were very chewy. Something you’d crave and come back again. Would high recommend it for lunch, or even breakfast even!
