Another team meeting this time at Assembly Coffee over at Evans Lodge where I had the Snickers Tart. It might appear small but it's super rich to the point where even I had to take my time to finish it. Price is ok and the space itself is a little small but cozy enough until it gets a little crowded.

Big team meeting at La Marelle over at Baghdad Street where I had a delish pasta (can't recall which now!) and a slice of the Hazelnut Buttercream cake which was just ok for me.

Pre-rehearsal and meeting with Martina at Merely Ice Cream at Sunshine Plaza. I had a scoop of the Hazelnut Kit Kat and Salted Butterscotch to go with a waffle and while I liked the flavours and generous serving, the ice-cream was a tad too icy.

First post-Ramadan tea with Alyssa over at Craft Bakery over at Holland Village. We had the Seasalt Caramel Cake & Peanut Butter Fudge Cake, the latter of which was very rich, like a piece of Reese's chocolate! Decently priced though!

Afternoon tea with Rosemary and Derrick at Arteastiq over at Mandarin Gallery. As many would already know, it's a gorgeous place and if you're in luck, you get a gorgeous view too. I had the apple cake with 2 scoops of ice-cream. The odd pairing of chocolate and yuzu ice-cream was a mistake but it was entirely my choice - an attempt to be exploratory. Liked the ice-cream with the cake though a minor bugbear I had was that it would've been better if my apple cake had been in between the 2 scoops and not at the right of the plate. Slightly pricey but you pay what you get!

Denise and I had the S'mores Concoction at Max Brenner's at the Esplanade and while we liked it, it was a bit rich! Can't go wrong with chocolate and marshmallows right?

Taufiq and I had a Ramadan set dinner but I was obviously super happy at having Bread Pudding (and Creme Brûlée) for dessert. Servings were pretty small but they were definitely yummy!

I had the Lemon Bundt at 7Kickstart located at the Singapore Art Museum and it's really meant for those who really like their lemons. A little too much lemon for my liking. Not a coffee drinker but one should totally go for their cold brew!

I had the Valrhona Ivoire Raspberry Cream Cake at the Fabulous Baker Boy over at The Foothills for tea and I'd just like to say that I had such pretty flavours in my mouth. Pretty to look at, prettier to consume.

Had a Chocolate Soufflé at popular dessert chain, Bakerzin at Tampines 1 while waiting for my cast to turn up. Came with ice-cream and pretty decent but it's making me crave Laurent Bernardier's one again!

I love Bread & Butter Pudding but it's not as commonly found around town as it I'd like it to be. However, I found it at L'Etoile Cafe at Owen Road with Kimberly one day! It was more cake-like and with a scoop of ice-cream unlike how I usually have it but it worked well enough for me!

A big hooray to having a cafe at work! I really enjoyed my Raspberry Tart and everything is super affordable too. A really cozy place!
