Unagi Stew Rice Sadly they no longer serving their signature curry rice that I have from my last visit. Comes with salad and soup, the stew rice occupied with generous portion of curry gravy. I felt the unagi soft bones was a bit too must where I keep eating it. $16.90+

Sumo-ya: Quality Chirashi At VFM Prices If sushiro is known for being the most affordable and VFM ( value-for-money) chirashi dons out there, then I must add this place to the list! The storefront isn’t huge but it’s rly a hidden gem! Located along Pickering street it’s pretty accessible and well known among the office peeps that gets it crowded during lunch hours. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and serving of the dish given we only paid <$20 for the truffle chirashi don set with miso soup and salad! Not to mention the staff were helpful and patient as well:) a really enjoyable experience that makes me wna go again to satisfy chirashi cravings! 路过不要错过哦！ Damage: <$20 Rating: 8/10 ( one of the few places I’m 100% willing to pay full price for)

Can't believe almost a month has past since we dined at Burnt Ends... 😐 It was tough getting a reservation towards the end of last year, but we were lucky to have scored one! We had an absolutely amazing dining experience. From small plates, main courses, to dessert🍬, the food was exquisitely presented and we loved the combination of flavours. Danmisoft Soft Served Ice Cream Strawberry and Honey Comb soft served ice cream 》$3.90 / $5.90 Great for cooling off the heat from the sun. The soft served itself was alright but it was too sweet for honey comb. The texture is not as smooth as compared to others.

Soft Serve With Manuka Honey ($3.90) On weather like that, we all need to cool down a little. Tucked in a corner (beside Gong Cha and Teo Heng) at the newly renovated Suntec City is a soft serve franchise from Korea called Danmisoft. Their Soft Serve with Manuka Honey ($3.90) is the perfect solution to an otherwise sweaty day. Also, do get them to sprinkle some Himalayan Sea Salt for the added magic touch.

For Affordable Soft Serve A plain cup of Original Soft Serve here will only set you back $2.90 — a pretty good deal considering the creamy delight here is made from organic milk. If you can’t live without toppings, a range of the usual suspects ($3.90 to $5.90) like caramel popcorn, chocolate, strawberry and honeycomb are also available. Ask for the optional dash of Himalayan pink salt for a savoury contrast that will bring out the delicate sweetness of the ice cream!

Eggs Eggs And More Eggs A chilled Saturday brunch out with friends saw us at Hatched, but to my disappointment the standards there seemed to have dropped pretty significantly since the last time I was there! I had the Tortilla Espanola which was basically fried eggs sitting atop some roasted potatoes, bell peppers and onions and topped with salsa and 2 slices of plain toast. The eggs were lacking seasoning, the vegetables were cold and the bread slices came plain and tastes meh. Out of all the dishes my friends had, I'd say only the rosti tasted decent!

Rose Rose 🌹 Latte A cup of rise latte chase the demon away. If I remember correctly it's about $5.50. the fragrance is so strong that rose has actually the coffee smell but it's good. Rose meet Jack!

Sir Benedicts Sunshine Sir benedict 2 eggs at $19. It serve with ham and bacon. That includes a photo and veg salads. Worth it. Drop by to try that.

Pumpkin spice latte Seriously can't take any pumpkin spice at all. There's a little bit of nutmeg on top. They took our feedback and made us another cup. Very nice but honestly both taste exactly the same lol no pumpkin spice

Brownie Blackout brownies are all good, this one is abit too sticky-dense and outside isn't the most crispy, so not top tier. But still enjoyable

Must eat! Finally trying out the legendary Lorong 9 Famous Beef Kway Teow food! I have actually been wanting to try this for the longest time (urm 20 years? LOL)! But I was not sure earlier if they had non-beef hor fan! Since most of google map photos then (super many years ago) mainly featured their beef hor fan only! But yes, there is NON BEEF OPTIONS! You can get the black bean sauce hor fan in sliced fish or seafood option too! All for $8 per plate! The black bean sauce has alot of spicy red chilli padi too, so it was quite spicy! But 10/10 shiok! Will recommend all to try out this tze char stall! They also have dried kway teow version! Will be back to try this next time!

Thai Green Tea Pretty much as u expect from the average Thai green tea drink. Their ice cream texture is ok, somewhat firm and slightly sticky, and not v smooth(not in a bad way though)

Chrysanthemum Honey 13nett For 3 Scoops This has more of a plant taste than the previous chrysanthemum honey I've had. Not bad

Seafood tendon ($18.90++) Comes with miso soup and a mini chawanmushi. Tempura includes prawns, salmon, scallop, squid, long bean, mushroom and white fish. The tempura were not too oily and didn have any smelly oil taste. The fish was still tender and not dry. The portion was just nice too. They have a bottle of tempura sauce on the table which u can add on if u like.

Great Tempura Find Was walking around to decide what to eat before stumbling on this tendon place. We were being served chawamushi first before getting our mains. The Tempura is not oily which make it healthy. Quite worth the money too
